Welcome to hell weekend

Christmas is now just a sales venue for the big and wealthy to spoil there kids so much they think a pony is a normal Christmas present.

I'm sick and tired of Christmas, it starts at the end of July and when it ends, easter starts beginning of January, its insane.

Now the immigrants want to change it to Winter Festival. :(
Possibly the least factual and most sensationalist post on OCUK. Ever.

Pony time for rich kids? Total rubbish. Sure people do get spoilt, I don't think theirs too much wrong with that, but its solely about that? Please, I enjoy buying gifts to show appreciation and make people happy - as does the vast majority of the nation.

Your moan at the immigrants is just a joke - those I know love Christmas, including the Polish and, shock horror, the Muslims.

Your whinge at the length of the Christmas season is a fair exageration, but its not the end of the earth.

I think its time you remembered what makes christmas so good: family and love.

Have a good one :)

You stupid miserable people... if you had brains you'd have done all your shopping last month allowing you to stop in and watch DVD's whilst the rest of the world is going insane :D

It is necessary to shop every week. This Christmas thing makes it really difficult for the best part of a month. Huge drooling mindless crowds of people furiously wasting hundreds of pounds on tat. Pathetic.

Read the post again, slower. And pay specific attention to the 13 words which come before "pathetic".
Ok.

Huge drooling mindless crowds of people furiously wasting hundreds of pounds on tat.

Please point out how they are 'mindless' and what makes you think they are 'wasting' money on 'tat'.

SUCESS - Well almost :p

I managed to do all my xmas shopping in exactly 1 hour! :) ..and oh my, it was absolutely murder! People behaving like animals(myself included), ignorant, pushy and rude. I ended up saying 'for **** sake'(quite loudly) in HMV, because of some mental ladies.

Quite a stressful hour, indeed. My top tip: Look up every pressie on the net, the night before. Also plan your route, less walking distance between stores means more time to shop.

Most important tip: Don't leave things to Xmas eve!

Sainsburys was jam packed and jumping at 8:30 this morning! Some people are insane.

Ama... hmm not sure whether I can mention them or not??
Some well known website let me down on a so called "guaranteed before Christmas" delivery.
Perhaps they meant winter 2008??
Who knows, anyway I had to venture in today to make up for things not arriving and found it pretty calm in ..ahh probably can't mention them either. :( bladdy hell...
pointless post. :D
No swearing, nobody fighting over the last bottle of perfume and the queue at the til was fairly small too (10 people at most)
Even the model shop was open, bargain...
Bought myself some RC spares whilst I was at it.
Oh yea, and I found a FREE <shock- fall over moment> parking space.
