Wenger - get out

Wenger has been in decline since David Dein left. His purchases have become more erratic, Squillaci recently for example.

I feel that he has become stagnant at the club, he is too stubborn with his approach and has no idea about a Plan B. I have a few mates who are Arsenal fans and they all appear to be losing patience.

It is a tricky situation as there are not that many great managers out there, who are available. With new owners coming in maybe they will want a fresh start. Someone like Deschamp, Coyle or Villas Boas might be appropriate. Young and hungry with a good footballing philosophy.

As a Liverpool fan though I hope they keep him and he goes takes Arsenal down with him ;)

lol at letting Gallas go over only offering a one year contract :D

Tbh although hes a good defender, he was an absolute **** in the dressing room plus his antics on field didnt help and his injuries....so im wasnt too fussed about him leaving us and going to u...bit like the Sol Campbell saga when he left u lot to come to us and win some trophies;):p

That wont happen...it almost happened to you lot though...although you guys soon rectified that with new owners and Kenny coming back to take over the team...but Arsenal going down is as likely as us seeing aliens making a visit to us:p

its all kicking off behind the scenes:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/apr/19/arsenal-cesc-fabregas-arsene-wenger

even RVP is moaning about arsenal

Well granted both have very valid points...its a question that the people at the top should be asking Wenger very seriously...what you have to remember is that RVP, Fabregas and im rpetty sure Clichy are the remnants of our invincible team so they saw how Arsenal could win things but now its much different....all we are at the moment is a top 3 side and even that is under threat...watch we will give up 2nd and 3rd place then struggle to the very last game to get 4th.

A few more years of this rubbish and we may very well be out of the top 4 just like Liverpool lol.

This Season - Conceded less than Man United (although think it's level now). Beat Chelsea 3-1.

As fans we must remain patient. Arsene Wenger will always stick to his policy and to be fair to him, he nearly delivered some tropihes this season, the closest we have come for 3 years. We are improving and are nearly there.

However, this season has been shocking in a different way. Dropping 15 points in games we god damn should have won easily.

Newcastle - 5 Points

Draw 4-4 / Lost 1-0

West Brom - 5 Points

Lost 2-3 HOME / Drew 2-2

Blackburn - 2 Points

0-0 at home. Unacceptable.

Sunderland - 4 Points

1-1 Draw away. 0-0 at home. Unacceptable.

Liverpool - 2 Points

Eboue :(

If we got all those points. Where would we be? 81 Points. We would have won the league. If you look back at those games....there is ONE major thing that stands out.......No leader. No Viera, No Bould, No Adams, No Lenhman. There is nobody shouting the hell out of Denilson for being a complete retard. Nobody shouting at Squillachi or Kos for errors. Nobody controlling our midfield telling players what to do.

But...

When our team wins it's first major trophy there will be sense of huge achievement that everyone in the football world will respect. We developed our team into winners - not bought success. It's what Arsene Wenger believes is the right way to manager a club. And I agree.

6 yrs without a trophy is 6 yrs too long tbqh...problem is Fabregas as our captain isnt really captain material...i dont see him shouting the odds to other players, probably because he will get knocked out lol...but giving him the captaincy hasnt been the best decision that Wenger has made...only gave it to him because he was scared of losing him to another team. But saying that i dont know who else could be the captain...

But what about all the points United have dropped? Face it we have been pretty appalling away from home all season yet we're still leading. This is one of the best opportunities Arsenal have had.

if arsenal win the league it will be a victory for football and and a big F.U to the billionaires who are throwing money at clubs in order to achieve success

Funnily enough Talbs, i was about to mention him but hes been injured for most of the season...so having him as captain wouldnt have solved our current problems...maybe next season depending on Fabregas if he stays or goes...give it to Vermaelen as long as he can stay fit.

Fabregas is off, he seems very disenchanted from that latest interview.

Or could be the media just spinning crap as usual, like they did last summer. Until Barca meet our valuation of him, hes not going anywhere unless Arsenal sell him at a lower price...which would nark me off to no end.

If dodgy 'arry can value Bale at £80mill or something equally as stupid as that then id say we should value Fabregas at £100mill+:p...not that hes worth that much but still.

Barca are skint as it is so i highly doubt they will try for Fabregas this yr.

I don't think Fabregas will go in the summer, maybe next year. I follow him on twitter and he said that those headlines and stories were crap basically.

We have missed big VT so much this season. He was epic last season. Hopefully he will be fit to play the last few games of the season, possibly only Fulham. Depends if we are still in the title hunt.
