What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

If I play a game and like it, I make it a rule to finish it before moving into another, otherwise I'd just Keep jumping from one game to the next and never end up finishing any of them lol.
I don't know if it's an age thing :p I'm always full of good intentions when buying games, but I seem to have a Steam library full of games that I haven't even installed never mind completed!

*Waves from same boat*

Then there's my Epic library, full of games I've not installed, not played and not paid for.

Need my life to have a NG+ to get through them all.

That's how I've always done it, I like to throw myself fully into games but then I like RPG type games - my concentration span can only fixate on one at at time.

That said I may pop on FIFA on the playstation in between sessions but that's not something you have to think about so I don't count it :)

Yeah I know what you mean.

With the amount of Steam games I have built up over the years, I would need an 18TB+ HDD in order to install them lol.

These days I just download and install the game I'm playing and then delete it after completing it.

Remnant 2, playing the now, got to say this game is very good, but maybe i'm getting to old lol, it's seems so hard at times for me
If it's anything like the first game, then yes it was designed to be tough and you are suppose to die but in doing so you slowly get better and eventually overcome your obstacles.

Played some Quake II remaster :) having played q2ctf a metric ton back in the day. Just sp, can wizz through it quickly. Played some Q2 RTX too on 4070, it's very pretty.

Games aren't gripping as much these days or I lose patience :) replayed some Kingdom New Lands. Got about 30% into System Shock but prefer Deus Ex multiple paths design tbh, finished that via a youtube playthrough.

Dredge, enjoying, but... feels like the game is making stuff up. some fish can only be fished at night?! The game kept telling me how dangerous it was at night, ok then I'll stick to fishing only during the day, game. Just because the game is called Dredge don't assume I'm going to know I need to dredge stuff 24/7 - didn't mention anything in the tutorial :) upgraded the motors first and I'm blasting my way across the ocean without a care in the world (overpowered).

Cult of the Lamb, played a few hours, I get it, nice, cute, but the grind got too grindy, gotta take time away from killing stuff to pick up their **** otherwise people died coz I didn't pick up their **** in time. uninstalled.

I'm gonna go back and give Inscription another go. Turns out I'm not very game at card games. Also Darkest Dungeon (feels like a card game).

Plus others to pick back up again: Disco Elysium, Desperados 3, CARRION, Return to Obra Dinn, Neon White.

"Stuck" in a van with the kids in a very wet Wales.

Been playing Horizon Chase Turbo on a modest laptop.

Looks great and is top fun split screen.

Reminds me a lot of the Lotus games on the Amiga.

In fact not having the main rig around for a few weeks (and enjoying the Great British weather!) means playing a lot less demanding games which have been great fun.

Played Timberborn (Beaver based city builder) for a couple of weeks. Really good game but a little limited.
Played a few games of RiftBreaker (Futuristic base building/defence game) which seems pretty good sofar.

Last night installed BattleBit Remastered (battlefield style game with roblox graphics). Played for around 2 hours last night and managed to get about 5 kills. The game is supposed to be really good despite the graphics.

Apex Legends and trying ranked out but finding it hard to make progress solo queuing but having fun.

A lot of buzz about Starfield will probably pick that up on release.

BG3 is taking most of my time currently although I've jumped into Armoured Core 6 a little. And Starfield end of the week. Too much to play and that's ignoring all the older games I still want to get through. :)
