What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

Hmm, one thing that I seem to have trouble with is the combat - I'm colour blind so finding the combat slightly hard in keeping track and matching the attacks with the enemies...
Ah yeah that sucks, i can't believe there are no colour blind options in the settings as the game relies on coloured shields matched with certain attacks. Sorry to hear that dude, i hope you can overcome it as it's a good game.

That's cool mate, still enjoying the game so far :)
Just seen this.
If you look closely you'll notice that shields shimmer, and the direction of the shimmer shows how to break it. eg

red - shimmer goes up
green - shimmer goes down
blue - shimmer goes sideways, into the middle from both sides.
yellow - no shimmer

> Hey Mark, we experimented with a number of things for this. Have you noticed there's a moving "sheen" going across these shields? This is meant to show the attack direction for colourblind players.

Thanks a lot mate - this will really come in handy :)

Struggling to find a game to play, I want something RPG based. I've paused BG3 in the hopes they'll fix the consistency issues in act 3. Starfield I think I may hold off on for a month or so while the first set of bugs are fixed. I think I've played all the RPGs available on steam :( I'll never touch another blizz game and listening to the feedback about diablo 4 I think that's a good thing.

That's actually a solid plan. I don't usually buy a game when it's released as there will always be bugs and performance patches that shortly follow release. Starfield being a Bethesda game is notoriously known for having bugs in their games and I wouldn't even play it until it has been fully patched.

How are you finding it?

Really good mate, so much nostalgia. I wish i could change the voice language to Japanese, it would definitely bring it all back lol.

It's still a very difficult and challenging game, but changing the builds to match what i need against each boss is just how i remembered it. The decal design is really fun too making my own custom stickers to put on my mech.

Remember this?

Just bought Generation Zero for £3.99
Looks like a pretty good open world - survival game

That had so much hype before launch and turned out to be a very damp squib.... I refunded on steam very quickly.

For £4 it's fine... But it was like £45/50 a launch and I'd played the beta but loads of issues at launch and very boring very quickly after that.
