I'm 34 with two kids, 2 and 6. Gaming wise, my habits have changed over the years. I used to be a much more competitive gamer but nowadays with so little free time I don't want to go down that road as I would just be frustrated by the lack of practice.
I prefer games which are fairly short to complete, such as Life is Strange.
I love PC gaming but what I have found is that I have bought too many games, so I get the problem of not knowing what I should play!
My new rule is a maximum purchase of 1 game a month, and if I'm playing a game with a story, I should aim to complete it before moving on to the next game.
Currently playing Wolfenstein New Order. Its good but I'm clearly a console gamer at heart since my keyboard controls are pretty terrible.
I'm really looking forward to the next Tomb Raider game as I find that as excellent to play in short spurts or longer sessions. It won't require hours of practice to enjoy.
Rocket League is my only competitive game at the moment but perhaps I will try Project Cars again (even though I feel at a disadvantage with only a 360 controller).
My next purchase is a new GPU and a freesync 144hz monitor (XL2730Z) to be precise, and this is when I will perhaps delve into games like Counter Strike Global Offensive and Rainbow Six Siege.
