What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

The trouble with PC gaming is I spend all day working on a laptop and staring at a screen that I really don't have the motivation or energy to then to then spend a couple of hours playing games on another PC let a lone invest the time learning more complicated tiles like X, City Builders or Civilization. If I do play games it's typically older titles or from IP I'm already familiar with like Total war.

Tried dragon's dogma 2 again, managed 1.5h. Painfully average, uninstalled. Luckily it was a gift so not a waste of money (for me anyway)

Diablo 4 ( again ) - really enjoyed season 5 ; D4 has gradually improved over the last year.

Now on to Black Myth : Wukong which I've only dabbled with the last few days. Also having fun with Sins of a Solar Empire 2.

For the first time in a long time i had time to play some games uninteruppted, so managed to get Hogwarts Legacy finished, started titanfall 2 as everyone raves about it and ive not really given it a good go, and finished the day off playing some modded minecraft.

I've been playing a lot of World of warships lately, games are perfect 20 minutes max, less if you die. Suits me just right for a quick break from work or post work games. It's quite slow paced but with a good level of tactical thinking required. It's also free which is nice!

Other than that just going through my millionth run of eu4. Ragusa to Roman empire.

I keep thinking about giving wow another go haven't played it in like 10 years heard it's changed a lot now unless you play classic

WoW is a weird one as have installed it numerous times and dipped my toe back in but can't seem to get back into it and just felt lost lol. Threw thousands of hours at it 15 years ago myself too

Have to admit I did try classic purely based on my old character etc. and not the new stuff

Finally started the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and am getting absolutely battered! I have the hand-eye coordination of a drunk sloth. FromSoft games give me a bloody heart attack. They are soo atmospheric though. I'll start upgrading the new stuff and hope my Mimic Tear bro will aid on the journey.

Also have Black Myth Wukong on the go - much more forgiving than dark souls / elden ring type games and a bit faster paced. Also has the added bonus of being able to pause the game mid fight incase I need to handle any lifemin.
