What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

40+

I'm probably the only one in here that's still enjoying Ark

Nope, 32 here and ARK is still one of my faves with nearly 900 hours played (currently playing aberration), although for the last few months I've mainly been playing BF1 and just logging on to ARK to feed stuff now and again....I should probably just suspend the server when my friends and I aren't playing!

Really looking forward to Extinction and contemplating taking a few days leave on release to get a private server up and get started :)

32 and playing R6 Siege regularly. Dabbling in BF1 but finding the spawn/die/repeat aspect old and boring. I want to get either FIFA or PES but know as soon as I do I'll play nothing else, always the same with the football games, they are like crack to me.

Always have a single player game on the go as well which is currently The Observer, I usually turn to this if I know I only have a set amount of time to game. Going to play through Quantum Break next.

So whilst not a PC game series, my wife and I were not at work on Monday, and we were bored so we went out and bought a Xbox One X in preparation for RDR2. I bought the Halo Master Chief collection and Halo 5. What a blast! Loving playing through them. Just finished the first and now onto my fave, Halo 2 :D

AC Odyssey (which is fab) and Planetary Annihilation Titans with the future wifey (we even have a dedicated server box to run the sim).

Prey: Mooncrash, which I'm enjoying a lot more than the base game at the moment.
Not that Prey is terrible, it just seemed like System Shock but with instantly forgettable characters and irritating enemies. Actually I guess that last bit applies to System Shock as well.
Anyway, Mooncrash is good, they should really sell it standalone.
I'm playing Prey at the moment. It's a very difficult game to get into if you leave it for a while, a long while in my case. Think it's the first game I;ve played that I may need to start again from the beginning. I'm overloaded on stuff (having to drop items for other things) but have zero pistol or shotgun ammo. I'm lucky if I get a few of each. Also cannot remember where the recycling places are. Found a few new designs recently but cannot remember how to use them - I assume at the recycling/creation machines.
Need to think a bit more about what I;m doing next time rather than running around shooting stuff :). And need to find more neuromods too - never seem to have the right ability when I need it :), although there;s usually more than one way to do something which is one of the really good things about the game.
Will have a look at Mooncrash. I saw it mentioned on the Prey startup screen.

PUBG is my daily go-to at the moment, but I also have a game of SOMA going. Not long bought hardcore shooter Escape From Tarkov but not tried it yet.

How did you manage to stop playing in the first place? I picked it up on release and was hooked, did not stop until I completed it. Not many games have this effect on me anymore. Then I started playing it again a second time :p

Shame more people are not into games like this and prefer things like call of duty/fortnite :(

I bought MCC as well. I played Halo 4 and it still has the error at the end telling to press the wrong button in the boss fight!

Was busy with work and often away from home for much of the week. Ended up getting into a few games easier to pick up and drop like FarCry 5, Wolfenstein 2, both of which recently completed - still took me ages though, I bougth FC5 on day 1 I think.
Have more spare time atm :).

Wolrd of Warcraft BFA expansion killed gamer in ME or what was left I should say. Was hoping for new Xpack for diablo 3 or diablo 4...
Diablo mobile ?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,

Guess I wont be playing any games for looong time :(

Hooked on Thumper in VR right now. Finished all of play. Now working through play+. Only niggle is I thought you would be able to start at any checkpoint in play once finished but you have to start at the start.

Still lots of fun though !
