What did you do to your bike today?

Not since I got the Tiger, which has a gear indicator, have I gone for 7th. With the Bonnie only having 5 gears, and no gear indicator, I kept thinking "I wonder if I'm in 5th" and invariably I was.

what you never have you never miss:(

its like abs and traction control on newer machines, what happened to letting go of brake lever and reapplying? and gentle rolling on the throttle so not to spin the rear haha

I prefer analogue clocks aswell over digital, digital is just a jumble of digits when accelerating,i like to see a nice sweep of a needle

That's a really weird thing to say... you must not have one :p

The Street I had for a few days had one. Was distracting. Maybe not so much for gearing up, but found myself looking at it to see if I was in first when stopping.

Edit: that being said, I just found the GIPro gear indicator and it looks awesome :p

I leave mine in first because it's a pain to have to take my foot off covering the back brake to get ready to switch it into first from neutral. And it would feel weird pulling off with my right foot down.

Round town I will stay in gear if the lights are changing soon, mostly 4 way junctions, as I know most of the sequences. If it'll be a min or more I'll go to N.

Yer first most of the time. But if I know its s long sequence or I want to adjust something I'll put it in N.

And what did I do to my bike? Took off the L plates! :D

congrats, you'll be surprised how they wont be driving up your arse so much now

i always leave mine in gear no matter how long im waiting, seen a few put it in neutral at the lights then you hear a clunk as they put it in first and im thinking why?

Went Bassetts Pole last night for a run out & a bit of social. Done over 2k miles on my Trophy already, Proof I got the right bike for sure.

I put it into neutral so I can have a stretch as the sv has clip on bars, so its always nice to sit up. Thought you woud be the same considering the zx6r is the same.

Edit: basically that ^.

Sometimes it's nice to sit right up and move your arms round a bit :D. When I fancy that, I stick it in N and have a move.

I leave it in 1st unless there's a long queue I couldn't filter past.

Allways in gear at junctions, some lights i'll drop into neutral & have a stretch as I'm a lanky sod with long legs, so it's nice to put both feet down whilst taking my hands off the bars & sitting up straight for a bit.

Depends greatly on whats going on around me. If I know the sequence on the lights then I will prob go to N and sit up. if I'm not familiar with the area will prob stay in 1st
