What did you do to your bike today?

The joy of being a biker unfortunately is that never mind how well you ride there's always a driver trying to take you out!
Saying that I ride on TPFT as fully comp was over a grand and paying over half the bikes value stung a little too much for me.

Both my YBR and SV are TPFT, maybe when I move up to a bike that costs enough and 2nd hand parts are scarce enough I'll move to fully comp. Although by that time the price difference between the 2 will probably be nothing :D

Made and fitted a satnav mount and fitted some speedy footpeg lowering blocks in the quest to make the versys more comfortable, going to have to do some fine tuning now though on the brake and gear positions.
None stop rain here pretty much for the last 2 weeks with more rain forecast for this week...going stare crazy atm.
Seems like every time I uncover the bike it starts raining.

On a side note I decided during the hour long dry spell we've just had; to dry the tent out that got soaked during last weeks camping trip and guess what....it's started bloody raining again just as the thing was almost dry.
Getting really fed up with this sh1t3 weather.

We've had very little rain down here this summer. Makes a change coming from the North East. I'm 'touring' Scotland at the end of the month so hope the weather is nice while I'm up there!

Not my bike as been years since I rode but hopefully get a bike this year.:)

Was giving out suspension advice to a mate and finding out starting points so I can set his bike up for him. :)

Need new tyres, any thoughts on the choice? Any particular site I should order the tyres from? :p

Oponeo seem cheapest for tyres

I only buy pirelli angels now, might not do them on your sizes tho

Yeah, they don't.

My friend told me that I should also look into Dunlop Sportmax SportSmart II and they've my sizes.

Tyreleader is cheaper for these...

Rosso 2's are good, they were on the Monster 821 I test rode back in November, in damp conditions - loads of grip, never had an issue. Big fan of Pirelli tyres after using the Angel GT's.

They go Angel GT, then Rosso 2, then Rosso Corsa, then supercorsa from least sporting/touring orientated to most sporty. The rosso 2's are dual compound rear too. If you're keeping it a year that's plenty enough time to get through most of a set of tyres.

However, are you sure you don't want a set of supercorsas on your 125? :D

Thanks, I'll probably go for the Rosso 2 than... So is Pirelli the best tyre choice for sporty tourers/sports?

Hahaha, nah I'm good. :p
