What exactly didn't you like about the Dunlop sportmax sportsmart 2?
So is Pirelli generally the leader when it comes to tyres with good grip and decent lifetime?

Came home after a weekend away with the intention of meeting my friend for a Sunday ride, sadly it wasn't to be, after not receiving any replies to my calls or messages, i found out he's been killed on his bike in a terrible accident while i'd been driving home.
Not sure how i feel at the moment, totally shocked as he was a very safe rider, not sure on what exactly happened either, just a terrible day tbh.

Yeah bud he'd not want us to pack it in, as to the details things are still very much unclear, three riders were killed in total on the same road within the space of 2 hours.
As to my friends accident, he was a safe rider, there's no way he'd have been speeding on that road, there's rumours that the car involved may have pulled out on him while he was travelling in the righthand lane, but as I say that's just rumours.

I saw that reported, all separate incidents too.

Sorry for your loss but Yes you should get straight back out on your bike, I like to think that my dead biker mates ride on my shoulder whilst I'm out & about.
Me I've been trying to find the right helmet, needs to be a Low profile open faced for the right look & so that I don't look like Charlie Brown. Problem is I can only find one online like at Fat Skeletons but I'm dubious about buying a lid without trying it on.
Also been looking around for some whitewall tyres front & rear, Think I'm going to get them from Black Circles & sent to a garage in Nuneaton, Prob cost around 250 + fitting. This I may hold off on as I have my Daughters wedding in a couple of months so my X's are going through the roof at the mo.

What about Shark Raw or Vancore?
I've seen some info about something very similar on my FB in the local bike groups. I won't go into the details apart from it was a Ducati and it was his brothers bike (i think). Just goes to show how connected all us bikers are and how we care about our fallen brothers.
