What did you do to your bike today?

Looks like it to me,

I'd change it anyway just to be sure, then see if it still loses charge

If it has heatsink cooling fins on it then it's the rectifier

After me going on about being 100% legal I got my new plate a few mins ago & I think it may be a bit dodgy :o + :p

Black with Silver writing & a single silver pin stripe making a small black border if you get me. & of course it's the right lettering & spacing & font & has the thingy mark thing on & is Exactly the right size & I'm pretty much 100%ish sure my bike is old enough to have one or one similar maybe with different colour writing font size spacing bla de ****** Bla. :D

I am also 100%ish sure that if anything you add to your Bike makes it look Epic, Cool or Faster it's legals anyways. I read that on the Internet so I know it to be Fact.

What's the last letter? My bikes not old enough for the silver and black plates and it's forty years old! I believe it's a k reg or earlier.

Where did you get it as I wouldn't mind a black and silver plate and is it pressed metal?

Long reach socket extension?

Gave a call to my nearest KTM Shop, most unfriendly experience ever. I've never came across customer services which were that rude!

I only asked him to double check if the stator was revised in late 2011 going to 2012 models and he said to come with the bike. I said, I just want this piece of information whenever this is true or not. "yyh sorry, but we can't help you ask the people the bike is with!" his tone was raised and aggressive... I said "pardon?" and he hang up...

http://www.ktm.com/gb/contact/ go straight to the source.

I created a thread on Polish KTM Forum to see if I get any response, there. I just had a look and the guy said I'll need to remove the tank, unplug ECU and then there are 2 bolts which are holding the reg/rec in place and I can access all the cables there as well.

I don't have a garage, I already had some hard time yesterday finding some screw which felt out. I'll push it to my local garage, sod that. Less hassle and nerves...

Edit:

Booked in for tomorrow.

blue oyster haha.

I've noticed more and more recently less bikers acknowledgement of other riders.

Ha, there's a guy on a MX 125 on L plates but an older guy not a kid. I see him every morning and I give him a nod but he's never once nodded back in three years now: D

I still do it though as it cracks me up. Even give him the thumbs up trying to get a reaction. He must think I'm mental haha. Hes got a helmet cam, might ask him for a compilation of me! :p

I see loads of bikers on my commute, some don't nod but most do, you get the regulars too, same people you see at the same point every day :D There's an L plater on a dirt bike style thing who gives me a huge nod every day.

Actually thinking about it, on my short commute of 35 minues I see a load of bikes regularly - a ZZR1400, a monster 1100 EVO (with termi's, oooh that sound!), a Yamaha diversion, that 125 dirt bike, and a Suzuki GSXR 750.

My example is a good one, so many bikers went pass even when I tried to wave them down... no one stopped. The people in cars didn't even stop, only truck drivers seem to still care. The talk about 'karma' is BS, I stopped for a biker who stopped in a unusual place. But he was fine, so we just had a quick chat, I stopped even though I was in a hurry! Modern world is only getting worse, people are less human. Some animals show more humanity than we do in some cases, same with loyalty (look at dogs.)

BTW

MSX 125 is a boss 180MPG, I wonder if I can test ride one on CBT? If not, then I'll wait till A2 license. I'll probably look comical on one, but who cares! :p

Edit:

Anyone on here using DNA Air filter? It looks like it lets through more air than K&N, there's a video comparison of K&N vs DNA vs Stock. Looks like K&N have a competitor or are those filters (DNA) bad quality?

I gave a dna filter in my zx10r,seems good quality

Any flames? :D

Haha,I've never reved it that high

So to have flames throwing out of your exhaust obviously not as big, as on that gif... that's just overkill  Would you need to change the exhaust (without cat and dB killer) and change air filter to e.g. K&N or DNA? Or would a remap also have to be done to have some flames going from your exhaust?

On that GIF its a MT07 with Arrow (decat and without dB killer+DNA Filter)

It's just when the bike hits the rev limiter, unburnt fuel goes into the exhaust pipe and ignites/spits flame out the end

I've done it once on my 600cc

Idk if having a catalytic converter might stop it

Yeah it will. Any blockages will contain the explosion. You don't have to red line it. Simply shutting the throttle will send some fuel down the pipes
