What did you do to your bike today?

Gave a call to my nearest KTM Shop, most unfriendly experience ever. I've never came across customer services which were that rude!

I only asked him to double check if the stator was revised in late 2011 going to 2012 models and he said to come with the bike. I said, I just want this piece of information whenever this is true or not. "yyh sorry, but we can't help you ask the people the bike is with!" his tone was raised and aggressive... I said "pardon?" and he hang up...

Strange .. I have dealt with Jason many times and never had an issue

yeah ive noticed lately

Yeah same here. Was only last night I was in plain sight and a guy in an ER6 goes the other way. I nod twice thinking he hand seen me the first time and he completely blanked me when he went past.

He might have got a bit of a freight when I gave it a good blip as he went past though :D

Yeah it will. Any blockages will contain the explosion. You don't have to red line it. Simply shutting the throttle will send some fuel down the pipes

Guy behind me crapped himself when I came off the throttle earlier, he was a little close and got a nice big pop.

I've regularly been riding into Kiddie from Wolves, Telford and Brum recently and 9 out of 10 bikers still give a nod.
The ones that don't are usually on some sort of cruiser trying to look mean.

What's the last letter? My bikes not old enough for the silver and black plates and it's forty years old! I believe it's a k reg or earlier.

Where did you get it as I wouldn't mind a black and silver plate and is it pressed metal?

Got it from Motorshowplates.com & No it's not Metal it's the same as a normal plate only Black with Silver lettering, Don't forget to order some plate bolts if you haven't got any Black ones laying about. Linky > https://www.motoshowplates.com/number-plate-maker

Came next day so no ******** about just make 100% sure you get all the dimensions, font etc correct before you hit the Buy button, I literally checked mine about 3 times. :p

Think I may take a trip up to Fat Skeletons & get myself a low profile helmet & some riding goggles that'll go over my glasses.

Took the bioke to the garage, I was there at 7:35. Now its the wait game to see what's wrong with this bloody bioke...

oo are black plates legal on a modern bike?

Only if it makes them look cool as **** :D

My plates only for taking pics with & when I enter it into shows, I'd never dream of taking it on the road unless of course I forgot to take it off after a pic taking session.

£390 quid, stator, cables and the electric starter and the battery is all fried up... The total is without the battery, I'll get that replaced under warranty.

That's my plan, not sure if I should try with it being faulty or fix it...

Deffo fix it, you'll lose more money selling it broke.

Aren't you doing your A2 licence soon/already got it?

Might be time to get off the L plates, you can pick up a cheap 500cc commuter for peanuts, something like a 10 year old honda will run forever...

I'm fixing up the bike, then selling it ASAP. I'll buy a CG or YBR as the soonest I can do my A2 is 6 months roughly... Hopefully I'll sell it pretty quickly, I'll do a nice professional AD. :p

Time to search for another bike, cycling to work isn't fun. Especially since 2-3 miles is constantly uphill...
