What did you do to your bike today?

I'm fixing up the bike, then selling it ASAP. I'll buy a CG or YBR as the soonest I can do my A2 is 6 months roughly... Hopefully I'll sell it pretty quickly, I'll do a nice professional AD. :p

Time to search for another bike, cycling to work isn't fun. Especially since 2-3 miles is constantly uphill...

How old are you? 19 I take it?

Up early for a follow-up test on the S1000XR this morning. I'm going to try some longer runs at a consistent speed, and see if the vibration really is an issue.

You havent wasted time on the 125, no one does, theyre great for what they are, starter bikes.
Well, when I was 15 I had a RS125 which I found out had a 160cc polini. It was scary and remember stalling it lots at first, I only ridden 4T's before that 2T which was my first 2T manual. Only had it for 4-5 months as we moved over and I had to sell it. :(

The new baby ninjas look quite fun for restricted license bikes
At the moment I'm considering a MT07 or Ninja 300, not sure if going for a newer bike is a good idea as the quality had dropped over the years. :o

Took the back wheel out and replaced the chain adjuster marker plates with some decent ones then adjusted and lubed the chain, didn't use the breaker bar I had to undo the axle nut with to tighten it up again so hopefully I'll actually be able to get it off next time :D

Fitted my new plate, Well happy with it, gave the bike a wipe over then went out for a run, Gorgeous day here but expecting a thunder storm so a bit of dinner, walk the dog, let the storm pass then off out for an evening run.

Guys don't buy from Tyreleader.co.uk, such a pain trying to get a refund for the set of tyres. One of which didn't match the model which I originally bought, I quoted bits from their policy and consumer act. No reply in 2 hours, still waiting... I've been sending mails since 9am...

Next time Oponeo, no point in saving 5-8 quid if you have to go through all of this bs...

You'd think they'd be jumping at the chance to get back a more expensive tyre than the one you've paid for.

Rode the hell out of it yesterday, someone even took a sneaky 'selfie' out of the window of my bike lol, I guess people like the new lights!

The feeling of hitting the new part of the tire (I have no chicken strips but I must have gone further over) is interesting, may have just been the very outer edge squashing.

Instead they're creating problems, as I've also request a refund for all shipping fees.

If I paid, there wouldn't be a problem. Ehh... It's always the companies based in germany which are creating problems, well from my experience anyways...

The garage at which my bike is getting repaired have told me that the battery is dead, but its outputting 10 volts, surely that's not "dead"??

From this GUIDE I can see that anything below 11.90v means dead, so its 'kaput'. :p

10v is a dead battery it won't turn the bike over. Should be 12v/14v running or so.

Doesn't take much to kill a battery, such a terrible technology that desperately needs updating
