What did you do to your bike today?

What did you do to your bike today? Removed the L plates. Woop!

Nice! I can't wait to take off mine! :p

BTW I had a go on a SM today, its different experience for sure. That bike's front wheel just wants to lift of the ground. :p

Edit

Those merino layers from Aldii are so warm, you get the feeling like you're about to sweat. But you don't sweat, its hard to explain. :p

Edit2

A little montage coming soon, I've some assigments to do and soon I'm going off on Holiday so a little bit busy. But I'll finish it at some point... here's a little teaser. :D

Told you there were good didn't I ;):D Natural evolution at it's best.

Yep, I had my kevlar jeans with those layers and I was nice and cosy warm. :D

BTW I'm going to go out and look at that RVF, possibly tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I'm checking insurance right now as i'm writing this post. :p

Why did Japan stop making bikes like this? :(

work car park. typically the company i work for don't have cctv in it. think its just been stolen for a joy ride and will get dumped somewhere.

gonna have a word with the boss when i next see him to get some cctv put in. not that itll do much good now but its not the first thing to be stolen from the work car park.

That sucks... :( my work car park is probably the safest place I could store my bike at.

Taking it in for it's 6000 mile/first annual service today and going to take a Street out as a loan bike.

It's a shame I have to take it to a Triumph dealer as I could get it serviced at work at staff rates but I want them to look at something that's potentially warranty and when people book services in where I work, for bike brands we are not a dealer for, we do tell them we don't have the diagnostic gear, for brands we're not franchised with, that modern bikes hook up to so we can't check any faults or reset service lights.

Next year. come spring, I will be trading the Tiger in for, potentially, an MT-09, a Z1000sx or something else that takes my fancy like a Ducati Scrambler so that'd be my servicing costs reduced massively :D

The MT-09 is fun for about 5 minutes then it's a massive pain in the ass, literally.

Unless things have changed from when I test drove one last year, they are quick, but the suspension both ends is rubbish, the seat is paper thin, it's also a physically small bike, so I couldn't get comfortable on it all.

After the first test ride I was quite taken with it, but on the second extended one, i was more objective and found that actually, it's a terrible bike.

IC3 - who delivered your yi camera, was it sent by "UKEXP" which I think is yodel? My SD card and gopro mount has come already from the rainforest.

The gopro mount is really solid, really well made. Glad I went for proper mounts.

Similar to my thoughts, it felt like a bike that you had to be riding hard all the time, not a bike you could just bimble around on. Seat was quite hard, front suspension bouncy, would be great fun but not really for an everyday bike.

Yodel yeah, I'll confirm it once I get back home at around 5'ish.
