What did you do to your bike today?

Yeah it's basically the naked model but just with a bikini fairing added. They've done a few versions of it over the years for the CB400. I really don't know why they don't see them here, although they probably would be quite expensive, maybe £6k or so.

ohh:eek::p

I dont have a double chin or a pot belly:p (its funny though one arse and so many machines,no need)

I hate selling bikes, all I seem to attract is timewasters, only bike I flogged in a matter of a few weeks was a kmx 125

:D was only banter mate ;)

For the first time today i felt my back wheel slide, some stupid bint was indicating left at the roundabout to take the exit i was leaving, only to carry on straight across the island, then looked at me like i had done something wrong :p

IC3 - New CB400 model being release by Honda... The Bol D'or custom. Not likely to be launched here though, it's a shame, but they're still making them!

I didn't read your post about it being new, I thought you sent me a ad with some old honda from 1989. lol That thing is ugly as hell, I wouldn't ride it... :p

Thanks for the info though.

 I was flinching at £30 to get a set fitted haha.
40 quid with wheels on the bike.

£6K would be madness, around 4k would be decent.

BTW

I've seen a black SV650SA with full fairings, had nice after market mirrors. Some little bobs and pieces, small details which had a big effect on the visual appearance of the bike. V-Twin means there's plenty of torque and this thing hits 0-62mph on 2nd gear easily. I'm just amazed by the torque, as long as it'll do around 135mph top speed I'm cool with that. :D

Not sure what budget to set for a sv650s, I'll definitely look for one with full fairings.

Fitted some blue spot calipers of an R1 to my cbr today, spent an hour trying to bleed the fudgers before giving up :( went out and bought an ezibleed kit that uses a spare tyre only for it to not have a cap big enough for my master cylinder, all in all not a good day.

It'll do 55 at the limiter in first, 0 to 60 in "holy **** how did I get there!?" And it'll happily sit at 120 on a private road. 2-2.5k will get you a nice example.

Picked up one of those aldi base layers today only the top got plenty of long johns already.

Not bike related but i forgot to mention, i booked my DAS today. :D Tuesday 3rd of November, reckon it's a bad idea? Could be really cold and poor conditions?

Great time. If it's too poor they won't risk it and will reschedule you. You'll get so much more confidence by learning in worse conditions, I learnt to drive in December / January through heavy rain, late nights and snow; did me wonders when it came to being on my own for the first time.

Nah could be ok, I passed my on the 15th October last year, so did it on the 13th, 14th and 15th.

Got my helmet mount all sorted for the xiaomi yi, just doing the firmware ugrade.

So the 0-60 is around 3.5-3.8 seconds, right? Oh yeah, private roads only. :p

Yep, those Aldi layers are awesome... all gone in my store.

The worse the conditions the slower you have to ride and the shorter distance you can travel in that time so it should be less likely to make one?

Do a picture of how you mounted it, and what mount did you use? (links are welcome)

Amazed by how small the box is, it's tiny! Didn't think it'd all come at first!

Mounted

The curved mount isn't quite curved enough, but it's bloody strong already - it ain't going anywhere. (genuine gopro curved mount)

Question - the wifi doesn't turn on when charging is that normal?

Nice, I'll get some gopro mounts too. The cheap Chinese ones are really bad...

I'll check that for you now, give me a sec.

Edit

It turns on whilst you turn on the camera, it won't turn on when its off. The LED is only showing that the battery is charging whilst the camera is in sleep mode.

BTW whilst recording turn off the WiFi and set the LED's to enabled only, there're 2 LED's whilst camera is on and not recording they're static and whislt the camera is recording they're flashing. The one next to record button.

The battery lasts longer that way ;)

Yeah I tried the LED settings, however I want the front ring LED to be flashing to indicate recording, all the setting does is turn off that one and not the tiny 2 red ones you can't see!

Giving it a full charge now, use the rainforest for the gopro mounts, the ones that say "by GoPro" are the genuine ones, everything else is probably chinese copies.

The wifi thing isn't a big deal I just wanted to charge it whilst updating the firmware/setting it up.

Yeah, it needs to be turned on though. So even whilst its turned on and you connect it to the charger it'll have to be re-powered back on. That way you should be able to charge and use the WiFi...

I prefer those 2 little red lights though, it doesn't creep people out so much as a massive ring at the front dose. :p

SHE LIVES!!!! Had to replace a vacuum hose and then had to a loose wire...which just happened to feed the front HT lead.

I had a bit of a shock at the end of the road when i realized I had 5 down and 1 up though! Turns out it's just the elbow for the gear shift should be above and not below the gear axle
