When my front tyre is worn out I'll have front paddock stand by then, so will do as you say and just get them to fit it, but in the short term it was easier and cheaper to let the garage do it.Yeh true, but I guess I have to think that I'll be doing this again in probably around a year or a bit more when my new tyres have worn out at which point I'll be up on cash as I'll have all the tools and it'll take 2 mins
I have a large adjustable spanner for mine,I wouldn't bounce on a torque wrench though
You need an adaptor to fit the front spindle on some bikes as well,its a stepped socket type thing
I linked to one from machine mart but he doesn't have one nearby, and halfords for some reason don't sell them?
Halfords can be good for some things but rubbish for a lot of things - like an amber indicator bulb. All bikes now come with clear lenses and amber bulbs, did they have ANY? Nope. And my local Honda main dealer was cheaper for oil and dot4 brake fluid!
