What did you do to your bike today?

Wow! Didn't think you'd get that much splash up the front without the mudguard. Your downpipes/rad must be a bit of a mess as well!

I was thinking that, like how the hell does it spray up there!?

But then I relaised that it'll be spraying up/forward off the wheel, and on hitting the air, being pushed back and up onto the front of the bike. His visor must look like a plasterers radio!! :D:p

Just got my furygan titan textile jacket not cheap but feels really well made, good sporty fit but still true to the measurements even though some people think you need to go up a size, aluminum caps plus D30 armour on elbows and shoulders, removable thermal lining and a built in waterproof membrane.
Looking forward to giving it a go on the bike in the morning.

Feels very much worth the cash and a massive improvement on my cheap buffalo textiles.

Well, it was pitch black at 5:30pm when I finish work today, winter is officially here :(

Time to hibernate for the next 5 months and try to put away as much money as possible for a new bike :)

Hopefully we get a nice warm winter, it's meant to be close to 20 degrees in the south east tomorrow! Bring on the global warming!

The new Street Triple 800's with half fairing are looking tasty for next year :D

Ahh yeah, forgot abut them - in fact there should loads of new bikes out in the next year because of the euro4 emissions thing and ABS law.

One good thing about the cooler air - not sure if it's just a placebo effect - but my bike seems to pop and burble more on the overrun :D

Good man, nice to see another XR getting some use. How much was your service, if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all. They quoted me £220 when I booked it in 5 weeks ago, and the service guy said "we've not serviced one yet, so it may be more." okaaaay.. Ended up costing me £191. Changed oil/oil filter and air filter. Adjustments and lube, usual things. May have had a software update too as I know they're checked during servicing. I begrudge it though as I always do work myself, but it's under warranty, so...

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww half fairing :(

The mock ups look great, half fairing is an option anyway.

I'll be buying one second hand around 2017-2018. The "touring" version will be perfect for the missus and I, without being a fat beast for the mountains 1-up.
