What did you do to your bike today?

That would explain why a lot of women choose this bike, I would have to sit on one of these. There's a Suzuki dealer not that far away, I might take a trip there tomorrow by bus... I should have kept my car at least.

Those that are not put off by the above can have a look here;
Linky - https://www.citysprint.co.uk/Workwithus/Courierwork/Applyhere/

Some Girl who I've ignorantly forgotten the name of works there & does it on a 125 Scooter round the City. It's a genuine Link & a good place to start. :)

If anybody does try it lets us know how you get on.

As for me I'm thinking of taking the car & satnav & going to find Fat Skeleton & getting the Perfect lid & glasses set up for me.
ACF50 seems to be doing it's job as far as repelling water, I've never seen owt Bead quite like it.

self employed:(

I wonder what the sv1000's are like? bit too thirsty for me I bet

they do sound nice I agree

EDIT: that darker Suzuki blue colour ive seen on a few bikes tbf

Sound great, go like the clappers too!! (120hp V-Twin).
However, they didn't sell well and stopped in 2007 iirc and it's hard to find a good example these days.
Though my local Suzuki dealer says they may be having a come back in some form soon.

Sold my bike yesterday, put a deposit down on another today.

That's how you do it IC3, never be without a bike :D

Yeah, when you don't have a bike for a longer period of time you start to emulate the engine noises and your colleagues look at you like 'wtf is he doing'. :p (joke)

What bike did you put the deposit on and what bike did you sell?

confused, you sold your bike? which one?
+1,

Confirmed or unofficial?

Unofficial. Basically some parts they get in have a model number for an SV1000S/SVF1000 all of a sudden. Could just be nothing but sounds promising.

Regardless, I'm not sure I'll have another Suzuki, they just reak of cheap. Think I'll go Honda or BMW next.

Next i require a big spanner for my rear axle nut. Though i know you should do it up with a torque wrench, but does anybody bother?

I don't torque mine, just fairly tight, then to the nearest gap so I can fit the cotter pin in

I just use a large adjustable spanner

I torque everything to spec when it comes to wheels, brakes and stuff like that. Just makes me feel better about it being on properly!

Torque wrench not expensive, so you may as well: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-...8&qid=1447159053&sr=8-1&keywords=toque+wrench

I would recommend a nice long breaker bar for getting it off as well, but then that's dependent on your bike. I never needed one with my Hornet, always came off easy with the torque wrench, but with my new bike I needed a breaker bar + wanted one anyway, nice to have in the toolkit :)

Nice! Not sure about the bar end mirrors though. Better than the big plastic ones they currently come with, but some quality non bar end would be nicer (Rizoma :p).

Maybe I'll upgrade in the next year or 2 :D I assume now that it's fly by wire, they will offer plug & play quickshifter etc.

New Speed triple S and R models just been announced, possibly with 140bhp. Led indicators, bar end mirrors as standard, underseat exhausts, brembo monoblocs for both models, new headlights - looks pretty damn nice! All the R model gets is some carbon and ohlins front and rear instead of the Showa stuff. Rider modes too, rain/road/sport and a new 2 piece seat.

That is the stop gap model until the engine redesign at the end of next year, to coincide with the Street Triple 800's.

140bhp is very low considering the Street Triple 800's will have 125 and a lot less weight. It's a bit difficult to see where they fit into the market.
