Do you think I should start searching for a bike now? Or wait until I've done my mod 2?
I missed this post, I would especially when buying 2nd hand as it takes time to find the bike you want in terms of colour, mileage, year and price. Although if you're buying new, wait for your license so you can test out bikes too.

So I've got a 750mm breaker bar, a dremel, a set of nut splitters(ooo err), a hammer and a fat barsteward amount of weight to hang off the tools.
Do we think changing my sprockets and chain is going to be straight forward?

From the look of the rear sprocket nuts, it's not been done in a very long time which is what I got the splitters for as I gave them a quick go with a socket when I was adjusting the chain last weekend and they started to round pretty instantly.
Should be easy, spray all the nuts before hand, and make sure the socket is on the nut firmly, and the dremel should cut through a link no problem.

Suzuki = Meh and the GSXR is kinda the BMW/Audi of the bike world (but less special), loads of them about and most are ridden by douchebags (not saying that you are though Fireskull). In fact, only the other month there was a t-shirt and trainer clad tard wheelie-ing up a side street near my work.

The 98 gsxr back end did look a bit gash,that huge hump but apart from that they ain't too bad styling wise
@tom the rear is the easy one,just remember to loosen them all while the bikes on the floor with the weight on the wheel
If anything the front sprocket will give you grief if it not been touched for a long time ect

Apparently all Gixxer riders are Gay & All Harleys dissolve in the rain & BMWs' only run properly when the dash/screen has every single leccy add on available even though the rider is only going down Tescos & back.

The front one, incase you don't already know, crack the nut whilst the chain is still attached, you are in for a bad time otherwise...
Haha yeah I made that mistake when I done my YBR one, ended up trying to hold the chain in one hand while loosening it off with the other, won't get away with that this time!
