What did you do to your bike today?

Yup just ticket and no points I believe. Not had a problem with mine so far, but then I don't really ride in town. That being said, people like RJ on YouTube have always run with 7x5 in London and no problem at all.

I bought mine for just over £2000, it was something like £2050 I think. I sold it for £2450 after 7 months of ownership, so I don't think that's that bad as even with the alternator going bust and a new set of tyres, I still had some profit from it. :D

Leave it at this price. ;)

You guys and your 'heavy' snow make me laugh.

Which part of Switzerland are you living in Kreeeee? If you're not far from Chatel (France)/Morgan (Swiss) ski resorts. I lived out there for a season back in 2012 just to get better at snowboarding and 2 weeks before the season even started there was nearly 3 metres of snow. I no long call anything that falls in the UK 'heavy' snow ;)

It was crazy thick snow all the way down to Geneva

Dropped my bike yesterday  :o

Set off for a trip over to Bolton and it was wet but not raining, 10mins in and it started bouncing down so I wanted to pull over to put a full waterproof over-jacket on (my rst jacket is showerproof at best).

Found a layby and it was cambered towards the kerb, no problem as I noticed it. Stopped, put the stand down, lent it to go on the stand, kept leaning... Thought, surely the stand will hit the floor now, it didn't, past the point of return now so just had to hop off! So angry with myself! I always look and give the stand a kick to double check but I was rushing.

So I'm stood at the side of the road, bike on side on a camber so even harder to get it up! Stood there for a bit watching traffic go past thinking surely someone would stop?! Nope. Gave it a go and thought no chance here, adjust and somehow I managed to get it up! Pulled something in my arm doing do though.

Damage... Luckily not much, slight scrape on the engine casing and that's all really! Between the handle bars and my top box they kept the rest of the bike off the floor - another plus for top boxes!

In other news I don't think my bike has a cat... I've never really looked and its got a belly pan so its not screamingly obviously. I probably should tell my insurance company I guess? Will this be a ballache come Mot time?

bad luck, ive done that once myself, and yeah no one stops nowadays, they don't give a munkeys

I don't think a cat is needed for the mot as they aint tested for emissions like cars(thank the lord),so should be fine,no need to tell insurance either

It's 'heavy' for the UK, in Poland this is nothing. I remember when I was younger, it was -30-40, snow upto/above my knees and I was coming back from school whilst it was still snowing.

Or when we had 2-3 bottles each and made ice slides for the sleds. :D

We don't get snow like we used to here, I remember 25 years ago we used to get snow drifts a couple of feet deep. Now it seems we get a couple of inches and the whole country grinds to a halt  but even that's a rarity - a few cm that settles for a day or 2, once a year is about right now, especially down here in the south east (warmest part of the UK).

What's everyone got on their xmas list biker style? My family have said no to a brand new Superduke GT unfortunately...:D
