What did you do to your bike today?

I wheeled it out and gave it a good blast with my new pressure washer that arrived yesterday...being careful around the chain, brake hoses etc.

Belated update. I cleaned it a couple of days ago as it had been sitting since new year's day with salt all over it. Seems to have survived ok though! I definitely need a hose pipe next.

I fitted these:

That bike is far too clean Rilot... :D looks awesome!

I forgot to zip my Kriega up for my ride home, so damn lucky I didn't loose anything, I realised when I was on the motorway, was expecting to have lost my shirt and trousers at least!

Today I stripped the exhausts off and fabricated a better bracket to hang the cans from the subframe rather than the weird arrangement in the pics above. Much better now. I also ditched the pillion footrests and hangers.
I fitted an 06 CBR1000RR side stand and then took it straight back off again as it was fouling the exhausts. I need to put a dab of weld on the bracket so it doesn't fold back so far.
I also fitted mirror extenders (I can now see behind me rather than my shoulders), a tail tidy and a variable load flasher relay so I can fit LED indicators once the bulbs arrive from China.

Eeek! I did similar on my first bike with a tank bag, riding through that Holland place. Heart stopping moment!

Rilot: Twyford looks nice (oh yeah, bike too :P), on my list of potential new homes (Caversham Heights atm). Is that a pretty big new build estate?

That's actually Basingrad in a new development.
Twyford is lovely yes. I've lived here for 6 years now and it's just right. Far enough away from Reading but close enough to be convenient.

That's definitely something I'd have done as well, the original arrangement looks like it provides minimal support for the cans.

I'm still waiting for man-flu to reduce sufficiently to make going out enjoyable! It's also reverted to dull grey and wet again outside :(

I also think I got ACF-50 on my discs so need to go out before I forget this!

Ah! Good to hear, I shall now pop off to rightmove.

Bonjour.

Gave the DRZ her first proper clean and liberal coating in ACF-50 :D

Since receiving her I've fitted new mirrors, luggage rack, toolkit and heated grips. Oh, and had a lowering kit fitted

Noticed a couple of days ago that one of the fork seals was leaking, so had to have that done yesterday. £87.50 for the pair :(

Yes, they are out now. It's proper loud though so I don't know how long I'll get away with it. It's on map2 already so should be run without them really.

Sweet.
That's the first thing i'm doing to the triple when i get it. Anything under 4 cylinders sounds beastly when you tinker :)
