What did you do to your bike today?

Looks like it's going to be warm enough over Christmas to avoid any real snow and ice so looks like I'll be strapping all my Kriega gear on and riding down to the parents which is good means I'm not stuck down there without transport and I don't have to deal with Christmas trains.

Until you get snowed in there ;)

Yup, 13 today again and up to 15 through the week. Got a feeling it's going to be cold well in to next year now though. Wish it'd just hurry up and get the cold/ice over and done with!

I keep making the mistake of putting my full kit on thinking it's colder than it is :(

Global warming for the win!!!!!!!

How come you changed from your sv mowy?

The engine has taken all the oil again. It's in the early stages of having crank/bearing issues. Need to get rid of it now so I dont lose it's worth.

Plus when I changed the engine I realised I had a tooth or so down on the front sprocket to begin with so since then it's felt a bit slow.

Because of the issues these V-twins have given me I though I'd go for an IL4 as hopefully should be a bit more stable. I grew up on the back of a CBR and for £1300 its within the cash I have to spend atm as well

I'm going to miss it but the extra power and not being confused with a 4 stroke 125 with after market can on will be nice

Once xmas and new year is done it's just January and February and then spring is round the corner! End of March clocks go forward, and April can be nice and warm (it hit 25 degrees in Kent in April this year), so not long to go before winter is over :D

I only really remember January being that cold last year, dropped the bike on ice the day before New Year then it was out of action till the start of March when I started my new job by which time it was chilly in the mornings but not icy.
Fingers crossed it'll be the same this year.

im on 67k miles so you got plenty life left, the engine will be the strongest part, the suspension and brakes are the ones that go all squishy/seize up ect

I got no mileage rivals on here now controllers gone all firestorm:(

I cant afford to run both bikes but il be gutted to sell my cbr :( but without it on the roads then no miles competition.

My CBR has R1 blue spot calipers and master cylinder so the brakes are s#@! Hot :D

Nice! I am taking my bike to MCT Suspension tomorrow so they can do some bits to mine.
No Öhlins unfortunately but it should ride well when done!

Once i have my fork springs in I can really start messing with the settings. For now the rear is rock solid. Like it absorbs most if not all bumps nicely but lean over and open up on a couple n it feels like the back wants to bounce up. But then behaves. Its gonna take ages to get all preload, compression n rebound dialed in :eek:
