What did you do to your bike today?

It's up for £2500 and they offered £2000 at first, I've had it listed at £2500 for a month now and I replied saying I'll take £2300 to which they counter offered £2200, haven't replied yet as I'm thinking it over!

Have they come to look at it? I don't get this offering over email, I want to see the thing before I'm paying several thousand pounds for it! Haha. Plus bartering in person is much easier.

You started a little low on the counter offer, should have gone in at 2400 then gone from there :p

They haven't yet but I did say they are welcome to view and test ride as long as I had the full cash amount in my hand before.

Yeah see that's just weird. In my view, you see a bike, ring/email and ask a few delving questions, go and look at it, poke it, prod it, make sharp intake of breath noises at it mumbling "hmm, that'll need replacing, needs a new rear tyre... etc. " and then and only then do you either walk away or start haggling on price. :D

Nowt wrong with a naked - I'm not a sportsbike kinda guy, partly because I'm getting on a little (mid 30's!) and partly because I don't like the way you're sheilded from the wind, you end up doing stupid speeds and not feeling it. A naked bike is a good licence saver.

And anyone who says you can't ride a naked over 60mph due to the wind blast, blah! You get used to it very very quickly, 70 (ish ;)) on my little CB400 doesn't feel like anything, it's only when you start approaching 3 figures that you feel it. Ok on long distance a fairing is very nice, but for weekend blasts give me a naked thou v-twin over anything else on the road :D

No zx6r?? I think you should try some test rides if you can,the riding position isn't bad tbh,I ride mine daily

That Honda is nice aswell

Anything over 70mph on a naked and it feels like your head is going to come off :D

Can you recommend any bike shops with a lot of bikes for sale? I went to a few at the weekend close to me, and they all seem to be cheap bikes like lexmoto and pulse :( btw i'm only 10 minutes from Birmingham like you.

I did think that at first, doing shoulder checks it felt like the wind was going to rip the helmet off my head! After a while though you get used to it, your neck muscles get stronger and I honestly don't feel the wind at all now at normal motorway speeds, 70-80mph.

That's true. :) Where you been??

Finishing up assignments before the holidays and currently doing F all. :D

BTW I can't wait till my license, its so depressing seeing all those bikers enjoying the weather and I'm just there casually walking... :(
