What did you do to your bike today?

I think the MT-07's are lovely bikes, personally I am stuck between one of those or a 09 Bandit.

Obviously, I need to pass the DAS first :p

Quite different bikes! The bandit is a big, heavy, old beast, if you're not tall I'd go for the MT07 any day over a blandit, they're awesome little bikes - a perfect first big bike.

Anyone seen any decent deals in the sales? Looking for a tomtom rider, kriega US20, zoom h1/tascam dr05/zoom h2n recorder.

I think the halfords deal they done on the tomtom rider is the best to come around for a while, outside of the U.K. you can get it for £249, halfords is £320 again now.

The cheek of halfords, the 200 piece socket set has been £150 for as long as I can remember, it's now in the sale for £150 and apparently 50% off :p I hope it's a mistake and they do put a small price decrease on it.

Yeah that was a pretty good deal on the tomtom. The rainforest has the samsung 64gb microsd card for £13 and a gopro hero 3 white with an aextra battery for £126.

I got a refund on my gopro accessories and another bit I ordered as they weren't delivered so will be re-ordering them, might have to add the sd card, always handy to have a couple spare.

I'll have to check but I think the GoPro only takes up to a 32GB card, or will it be used with the Yi?

I've already got the same 64gb card in the Yi, works perfectly. Allows about 7.5 hours of recording time at 1080p 60fps, high quality. good to have another for trips though if you can't be arsed transferring footage onto a drive.

I sat on the Bandit and it felt really good, I'm 5'11 if that makes any difference?

I would really like the MT-07 but the problem is the insurance even from Jessops was over £1,500! The guys in the shop said it shouldn't be over £800. Any ideas? If I can get insurance for £800 then I would get the MT-07 in a heartbeat, but the Bandit can be insured for £650, and that makes no sense. I assume it is all down to nickabity?

At 6'2'' I always get the impression the only bikes really built for me are cruisers and adventure bikes. I end up looking like shakey byrne.

Try Bennett's and MCE

It's mostly high due to new rider 0 no claims and area you live in

I just can't believe how Mild it is & wonder how many other Xmas days I'll have in my Life when it'll be mild enough to Ride on Xmas day.

I went out on Boxing Day last year, it's even warmer this year, my bikes not in working condition at the moment though... I'll get the soldering iron out and see to that over the course of next week.

Well, with the weather being as nice as it is I thought I'd deep clean the bits that don't get quite so much attention.

Front sprocket cover was pretty nasty

Front sprocket itself wasn't too bad (this is half way through de-greasing).

Shall continue with the underside of the bike tomorrow morning if the rain holds off.
