What did you do to your bike today?

Nice bike a mate of mine had one of them.

You are paying a premium now because of the licence structure though. My 20 yeaer old CBR cost me £1400 from a dealer and that was over the odds really

Plenty of people rode 400cc sports bikes before the new licence categories, and tidy ones have always fetched good money. They are now well into "classic" territory so prices will probably continue to rise for nice ones. Just look at the crazy money that NC30's fetch now.

no way the wind would blow it over, isnt their anywhere off road to park up? or even on the pavement?

Yeah I don't think it was the wind especially as it's down on the sidestand side. The left wing mirror is cracked and my brand new Muff have holes in them but I suppose it could have been worse. All these bloody scars on my bike and I'm not really responsible for any of them.

Anyway I can park in my front garden but once the road is full I won't be able to get it out again. I've considered parking on the pavement but that would cause an obstruction and I'm sure I'd get a fine. I'm thinking of having a front garden without a wall and that would allow me to get my bike out and ride it down the pavement when I have no other way of getting out.

The thing that really ****es me off is that no one even left me a note and the bloke we think did it is claiming. Any damage and I'd have to pay out as I couldn't afford Fully comp insurance. It really wouldn't take much to make biking too expensive for me at the moment.

One nice reconditioned caliper done in gold with matching braided line, that's my little job for the weekend.

Nope bought it from a company called power house, £62 for it fully overhauled and painted. I couldn't have done mine for much less by the time I'd bought all the seals and possibly pistons and then my time.

Not bad. I'm after a new front left nissin caliper for my Hornet and 2nd hand straight off another bike are £40-50 already on eBay, so £62 for one like that is a good deal!

They only seem to have pairs for the fronts on their eBay shop but they're pretty helpful so I'm sure they can sort you a single one if you message them or they also offer a refurb service for your calipers if you don't need the bike running.

Are your hornet ones the same as the old cbr f3's i have a spare set of those laying around. They have new seals but could do with anodizing.
