The start of getting the Hornet back on the road. It didn't run all that great last year. Got to around 8k revs and didn't go any further so I was basically stuck at 55-60mph farting along the road. It revs fine standing still.

Plugs are a bit black and sooty. #2 plug has a bit of oil on it as well.

From what my Haynes is saying this is all on the low side. They should be up near 190.

:(

I'll measure the valve clearances tomorrow and see where they're at.

I'm a total novice at all this so everything takes me ages. :p

Was gonna go a ride today as the sun was shining and it looked a nice day, then I stepped outside and felt how cold it was n thought no I cba

Fair-weather bikers eh? ;) Went out for a ride with a friend on his new bike. First time I'd been out on mine in quite a few weeks. Started without a problem and had a nice ride. Only down to J&S, tempted to go down to Lynns Raven Cafe but saved that for another day

It'll need a bit of tweaking, but happy with the routing etc.

I then went for a ride to make sure nothing fell off :p

My current riding clothes are really cosy in these kinds of temps - the only issue I have is my fingertips get very cold.
