What did you do to your bike today?

A little firmer yes, but also more 'supple', smoother over small bumps. There's a road near me which is like a washboard, loads of little bumps and it's definitely smoother over that road. Before it used to crash over bumps and din't really absorb them, but was also quite soft.

I suppose that's the progressive springs working, the first bit of travel is soft then it firms up after that.

Get linear springs that are matched to your weight. Forks are naturally progressive anyway due to the air spring at the top of the oil.

I think there's a cartridge in mine that you have to drain but not sure if that means splitting the top/bottom ?? Or you drain it by pumping the fork internals

I don't wanna replace the seals as they are still on the originals, just the springs and oil, right now the suspension feels awful

Why not a bike?

One of my favourite shows lol, just rewatched it.:D

Anyway my new job means that I don't have a workplace and that I need somewhere to eat, do paperwork, rest and maybe even have kip if the M25 is like it was last Thursday. My bike was mainly for commuting and I don't have the money for a fun machine right now. :(

Workmate bought a GSX-R1000K7 on Wednesday after a 6 year biking hiatus, so we went and made use of the weather on Good Friday by going down to Bridge Motorcycles in Exeter with some twisty detours on the way back. :D

Nice R6, although I would change those indicators to something like this...
Front: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fairing-Flush-Mounted-E-marked-LED-Indicators-for-Yamaha-R6-R1-YZF600-YZF1000-/191823638465
Rear: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smoke-Led-Rear-Tail-Light-Brake-Turn-Signal-For-Yamaha-YZF-R6-06-12-Red-Amber-/231725423368
7x5 plate would be another of my suggestions :p

It's sunny here at the moment, but it's been sun one moment then torrential rain then next, then 10 minutes later, blue sky and sun again! We're getting 50mph winds here tonight so the bike is safely tucked away down the end of the carport out of the wind.
