What did you do to your bike today?

is that stone ? where is the chunks of impeller ? I bet your glad you decided to have a look eh ?
Yea looks like a bit of gravel !
Broken bits are nowhere to be found even after flushing radiator and block ( both ways ) I can only assume they were ground down to tiny pieces ?

@Rossi~, Is that a barn or a garage? The thing looks massive compared to the little garages where you can't fit a focus inside. :p

It's a very big garage/small barn. It's rain proof but a bit draughty. Project for the near future would be to refurb it, seal it up properly, insulate and replace the door and drive :)

Dark tinted visor on today with no pinlock :D It'll be nice to get home and it still be properly light.

I'll be riding home in torrential rain

On the brightside for the rest of the week it looks like I may be able to join you in the dark visor and might even break out the leathers to get used to them.

There's no option to fit a pinlock to anything other than the standard clear visor for my lid and I don't trust myself near it with a drill to fit a universal one :D

I have found the muc off I think it is premium anti fog spray pretty good though.

Mod 1 attended and passed this morning. In and out within 10 minutes. 2 Minors, both for emergency stop(will cover in a minute)

Speed for the swerve avoidance and said emergency stop, Bear in mind 50kmph required, 60 and 65 :O Examiner said my emergency stop could;ve been quicker. I think there's the reason why :p

Mod 2 booked for end of this week :)

Congrats abbz, not far to go now;)

Picked up a god damn nail in my rear tyre, right on the edge aswell:(,pressure seems fine so it'll stay there

Oh and my rear wheel or sprocket bearing is crunching again:eek:

On my mod 1, the examiner stopped me while he checked out the back wheel. It turns out there was a nail in the tyre, and it was borderline whether he was going to let me continue. He said if they weren't new tyres, he'd have cancelled the test.

Only just remembered this(!) :D

Cranked the lathe up today to make a replacement shift rod as the one that came with the rear sets was about 2.5cm too short.

I had a similar thing with a loose chain on my Mod 2. Apparently new chain on the XJ6 and it kept loosening according to the school. Examiner told me to stop, quizzed me on it and then had one of my instructors tension it immediately after we came in. Was bricking it when he pulled me over for it, thought he was gonna cancel the test. I of course hadn't checked it.

In other news, just installed a centre stand to the Alp this evening. Spring was a total bar steward to get on. Had to ratchet it open and stuff it with pennies to get it on!
