What did you do to your bike today?

Baffle, just tried again after leaving it running, still won't budge.

Do not try and take it out after it's been running, it makes them far harder to remove.

Let it go cold and then use 2 pairs of needle nosed pliers on either side of the baffle and wiggle it left then right alternately until it comes loose. Obviously this is much easier with the cans off the bike but I did mine with them on.

One of mine was a pain to get out and it made the bike run poorly (laggy pick up/throttle response) and sound nasty without them so I put mine back in. I can confirm there are no welds on the LeoVince baffles.

Get hold of a wire coathanger and unravel it,then make a hook on the end and thread it inside till it hooks on the end of the baffle and pull it out?

Just a bolt at the bottom which I have removed from both of them, I'll stick the other baffle back in and take it for a ride, won't be until the weekend though.

I ended up taking mine to the dealer to pull them, also struggled a lot (and didn't want to damage anything on new bike). They have a 'special' tool to do it.

wazza's coat hanger idea might work. I've also heard of people jamming a broomstick handle in and pulling it out that way.

May as well just leave them in then, they sounded good in anyway.

Said no biker ever.

You have to try! :)

If you can grab it either side with pliers, then it should be pretty easy with some patience. Mine were a pain as there's no gap between the exhaust and the baffle, so you have nothing to grip.

Haha yeah true, got me thinking though now about what kreeeee said about poor performance with them removed, won't hurt to try though. :)

Anyone else prefer the look of matte carbon fibre over gloss?

I think it looks much smarter

Yep I think matte black in general looks smarter, my rear hugger was a shiny black eyesore as stock gave it a quick spray with some black plastidip and it's now matte and looks much better.
