What did you do to your bike today?

took the cbr for it's mot passed with no advisories...which is odd as according to it's last mot it got an advisory for the rear bvrake pads nearly at minimum :p

Just a question about advisories on MOTS...my ybr got an advisory for some play in the swing arm at it's last MOT, should I take it to a different garage to get a second opinion?

Mine have had the same advisory for rear pads since I bought the bike 2.5years ago :p

Changed both sets of switch gear which was a right faff then went out for a few hours riding.

Is the Sky Blue ?

MotoGP is on at 4 and bsb at 12 so not sure if I fancy a ride or not.

Are you ******** me  What absolute *******. :p

Cheers for the heads up though I'll plan my outdoor missions accordingly. I will get at least 3 blaps of the triple 4 today at least. :D

On a side note the roads are ***** dodgey out there, Is anybody else finding untold **** & gravel piled up in the middle of the lane, Makes cornering interesting, I had movement up front yesterday.

Appears to be a lot of swearing left in me after yesterdays control change mission which was only achieved by a Constant stream of obscenitys. :p

Found a nail in my rear tyre

For some strange, and totally unfathomable reason, I have never bought one of those puncture repair kits so I just ordered one from Amazon for delivery tomorrow.

****ing grrrrrrrrr.

Had a fantastic ride all day, managed to finally get my lean angles near back to how they were prior to winter....

then noticed that my headlights aren't working, seems to be a common fault on RR's where the solder joints in the right hand switch gear connected to the starter button are crappy/loose, so will have to solder that back together!

Also need to tighten my chain, seems to get slack far too quickly, even with massive amounts of Silkolene chain lube.

Oh! and 20mph round a roundabout I felt something hit my left leg, turns out my cheap chinese blank pillion hump(what do you call these?) had fallen off mid lean, rather annoying as it's scratched it to all hell.

Well not today but yesterday.

5 of us met at Loomies cafe a quick brew then down the 32 to Farham to Micks massive burger van, then Arundel for another brew, then home.

Was awesome, some quick riding great roads and great company.

Where abouts are you based dsb??

On Saturday I changed my oil and filter and also sorted a minor oil leak, previous owner stuck one of those carbon generator covers on, if anyone is thinking of getting one don't :p
If they are just the glue on ones fine but if you have to bolt them on they are rubbish, as you cant tighten the bolts properly as it just cracks the damn carbon, surprised its only just started leaking now to be honest!

Also convinced my friend to get a K5 GSXR 1000 too so will have a riding buddy again soon :D

Bike is almost ready for track now, just need it to warm up a little bit so I can rip of the heated grips and put some renthal grips back on, and fit my new tank grips :)
