What did you do to your bike today?

I went out today as well and it doesn't feel as cold as Thursday when I picked up my bike. Was a good ride but I keep seeing dust and dirt on the bike so am wiping it down every ride. Obviously that won't last :D

I give it a couple more rides, coat it in acf-50 then just wipe it off every few weeks with a major clean and reapply.

Went out for a quick 60 miles today, was pretty cold and still some snow in places  I just want the dust off the road to clean now the road is nearly white in some places :(

Next (now this) weeks to-do list

Gave it a wash for the first time in 2 years (its used for the daily commute so I can't show it too much love or else I'll not want to take it out in the rain).

Took it to the Southend Shakedown, the ride to Brands Hatch to meet some people was torture as my fingers felt like they were stuck in a freezer. I need better gloves for next winter, I also need a better screen as of the 220 miles I did today, most of them were at motorway speed and I was buffeted a lot. Sean Connery's wives/girl friends don't get smacked around as bad as I did today.

New rear tyre on, god damn it was tough to fit, the carcass is so tough!
Its amazing how a new rear tyre and sorting the front brakes can make the bike feel, feels like a new bike, love it :D

Also decided to put the yoshi back on for a while, want to repair and modify the Quill when it gets warmer.

Took it for a ride out & it was ******* freezing. :p Started instantly though & ran sweet so I'm happy.

Contemplating ordering some HEL brake lines for the CBR600... got some on the car look and feel fantastic... so, thinking £60's, should I buy :-)

Got myself a new helmet today, Have gone up a size as I get an ache at the back left of my skull after about 2 hours or so. Nowt special but it's lovely & comfy in there. :D

took the cbr for it's mot passed with no advisories...which is odd as according to it's last mot it got an advisory for the rear bvrake pads nearly at minimum :p

Got my new lines and grips fitted, got some new discs & pads to fit now as one of my discs was bent and causing a lot of vibration when braking :(. Will get some pictures of the lines when I remember to do so!
