What did you do to your bike today?

That's what I go for, do you have expensive ones or just the ones from china? The only issue I have with the chinese ones is that they discolour after 9 months or so.

What levers did you get?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201509338672 - the guy does them for most bikes. Speak to the him and he'll do different colour adjusters for you.

My brother has had the same make since December, so basically through most of winter and they still look new. His are silver though so wouldn't notice any fading/discolour. They haven't chipped or anything like that, which is what normally seems to happen with the really cheap Chinese stuff.

So yeah, probably are just Chinese ones, but the quality is perfect. I'll see how long they last! Maybe I'll regret not just going for the Evotech ones, or maybe not :p

Maybe, although I've not been able to find the same ones from China. Plus he'll put different adjusters on. Couldn't find any black with red adjuster for my bike when I was ordering.

Also got stuff for my Hornet today. The thing better start for me first time :D

New front left caliper is downstairs with some WD40 sprayed on the pad pin. Going to do the forks, then mount the new caliper so I've got some leverage and hope the pin comes out without any problems.

Also arrived, but I missed the post, some nice black bolts to block off the old mirror holes and 4 new spark plugs.

Admittedly it had a hairline crack after the accident a few years ago, I just reckon its decided it couldn't take the silky smooth steering with the new tapered rollers :D
£30 for a new mount... wont be here before the weekend though -_-

I also decided to take the scratches on my stock exhaust as a sign I should buy an Ixil Hyperlow :D No idea if it will sound much better while I still have the collector box (bike is an SFV650) but I'm hoping it will be a little bit louder.

The Ixil exhaust is more of a decorative trim and has negligible silencing properties itself. It's designed to be used in conjunction with the collector box, so if you get rid of the collector box it will be insanely loud.

So you're saying it should be slightly louder than the stock exhaust?

Abused it...

Not cleaned the Hypermotard since summer, and have been riding it to work for the last few weeks - so it's 10x filthier now; I've also let the rain keep my chain lubed :D Unfortunately, this has resulted in being able to pull out a split O-ring last night

I got told before summer that the chain and sprockets needed to be replaced, I have the bits now, but not had time to fit them.

Don't leave it too long having your chain jump your sprocket and jam up your back wheel isn't fun on a 125 I wouldn't like to try it on anything bigger!

Looking at the size of the standard silencer I'd be amazed if it wasn't somewhat louder with the Ixil exhaust.

Yeh, the stock exhaust is a bit bulky, part of the reason I want rid! The Ixil was meant to be delivered today but the courier didn't leave it with my neighbour like I'd asked :(
