What did you do to your bike today?

See my old post http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=29165766&postcount=11571 I got about 8500 miles out of my rear Angel GT, so you're probably halfway worn on that PR4.

My riding is 200 miles every week of upright, with 2-3 corners, along with maybe 1500 miles of twisties.

You can't beat the laws of physics, if you're not using the sides they're not going to wear down! :p:D

Just the photo, they look round to me? Toward the floor and look at the tread depth across the width of the tyre should be fairly even

@IC3 whaaaaaaazzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppp

Just washed last weeks road grime off during the gap in the rain. Cleaned chain and put on that WD40 lube from lidl. See how it goes.

hehe its funny though some of the stupid ways you have to do things,i had to take my whole exhaust off just to remove the rear shock bolt:eek::(

all they had to do was shove the bolt in from the other end so it wouldn't hit the exhaust pipe:rolleyes:

My Battleaxes are pretty squared off on the SV, I probably have around 300-500 miles left on them before they're illegal. I'll nicely finish of the tyre with a nice little burnout. :D

Based on your posts and taste in YouTube videos I don't think you'll have your licence for long :p

Haha, you aren't the first person who said that to me... (some say I've a heavy foot too) :(
I should be able to control myself on the SV, I'm scared of getting a sportbike or superbike as on that I'll definately lose my license. haha :p

I'll check tomorrow and see what it's like.

I was meant to clean up the front sprocket and the gear indictor sensor as well but after all that, I didn't have time. Doesn't help that it's a pain in the butt to get to the front sprocket, got to remove the cover, remove the gear selector linkage, detach speed sensor, remove casing with slave cylinder, then huzzah!... Balls ache just to clean something.

You have to remove the clutch basket to get to mine :p

What's all this messing about with sprockets and clutches to get the front sprocket off?!

Cover off on the side (3 bolts) and the sprocket is there on mine. Get a Triumph with single sided swingarm (no chain alignment messing about) and never struggle with maintenance again :p

Looks like my belly pan might be a no go until I can be arsed drilling bolts, as usual the Suzuki cheese nuts that you need to remove from the oil cooler mount to fit one of the brackets have just rounded off at the mere sniff of a spanner.

I know your pain... :(

I know your pain... :(

These now join the oil cooler guard screw I rounded off when I first got it
Pain in the backside.

I've covered them in plusgas and I'll do the same again tomorrow night then hopefully I'll be able to ease them off with some grips on Wednesday and replace them with some SS bits when it goes back together.

I've bought the SS guards for the rad and the oil cooler, and couldn't get the screw out of the side of the rad and the screw from the oil cooler. does my head in :(

Today I will be rushing home from work to catch the last of the sunlight, ripping out my rear brake and its pistons, giving them a clean and rebleeding.

Back brake has been seizing since insurance returned it from my off and they're refusing to fix it. Nice. So it's up to me to get it done.

Markerstudy by the way. Terrible company.
