What did you do to your bike today?

Cleaned it from all the gunk build up from the crappy chain lube and waxed it, its actually shiny! lol :p

Filled her up 2nd time this week, I did over 300 miles so far. :p

Edit: Installed a universal phone holder onto my handlebars.

Took the head off the CRF250R for some valve work... Yes, that does mean removing the seat, fuel tank, subframe, airbox, exhaust, rear shock and carb. Who ever said Honda's aren't well designed? lol.

Do a job properly or not at all haha. Nice CR. That frame is beast, just need 2 find a CR500 engine ;)

Broke my mirror yesterday, those Chinese mirrors can't take speeds of 115-120. :p I need to search for some other ones, 1 mirror looks nasty...

120mph is the supposed top speed of my CB400 too (50bhp), never tried it though :)

Although the top speed is in 5th gear, it doesn't have the ponies to get to top speed in 6th.

Oil change (5l of Motul 5000 10w40 for £28.50), chain lube and adjust. Was going to give it a quick run out but it's started raining. :(

And a restricted SV is only 25 or so bhp less than stock, a quick youtube video shows 135mph indicated top speed, so probably 125-130mph actual speed. So IC3's 115-120mph indicated (on a private road, of course ;)) on his restricted sv650 was probably 110-115mph actual speed.

It is restricted, isn't it? :p;)

I did look for a 500 lump before deciding to get the head work done. A decent engine is worth £2000. I'll pass, shame really as the conversion kits are cheap and easily fitted.

So with a restriction it isn't going to do 120 is it :p
It will, indicated speed of course ;) As I said, my CB400 (53bhp when new) will do 120mp, So a restricted SV650 at 47BHP should be able to hit around 120mph indicated, which will be 110-115 actual speed.

All the A2 licence bikes (Rc390/CB500 etc.) top speeds are around the 115-120mph mark.

:p Although thinking about it, my bike is all top end, nothing below 7000rpm, and a restricted SV650 is going to be all bottom end, with not a lot up top, so it may start to struggle when over 100mph :D Whereas mine is right in the sweet spot for power (11k rpm at 100mph roughly).
