What did you do to your bike today?

Added handguards to the CRF250R, should save levers and my fingers

Also added a Hammerhead rear brake pedal.

Went from Southampton to Salisbury to Devizes. So scenic between Salisbury and Devizes it was awesome and a great road to scrub in a new rear tyre

New Motoul 10/40 oil, K&N oil filter, K&N air filter, 4x NGK Iridium spark plugs and on Monday I'll be doing a throttle body sync as the vibrations are horrible and fuel economy sucks on my FZ6 S2 '08 hopefully it'll smooth out the engine!

Definitely need a new battery. Had to jump start it at the weekend and struggled to start it this morning, not enough juice.

Recommended brand?

Nearly hydrolocked the thing. Trail riding out in the Everglades FL, (800miles of disused roads / trails) Some of which are flooded. Going in to these puddles ditches is part and parcel of trail riding. Occasionally, some take you by surprise... Very nearly lost it, struggled to keep the bike upright, as it sunk in the mud / sand / dirty Everglades water. Got got though phew !!! and didn't get any water in my airbox so ok, as far as hydrolocking goes, but i reckon it was close !!. My friend laid his down trying to get thru the mud / water. We had to make our very own new trail thru the gator / snake / bear infested forest !! lol

Very interesting tyres you have for those roads :p

on knobblies now thankfully otherwise i'd not got out of that rut !. Just new to uploading to youtube (actually first ever upload) and thought the thumbnail option was something different. Just used an older pic of the bike.

Last night I polished my toolkit

Noticed when I had to break it out on my way back from Brighton at the weekend that it was all looking a bit rusted and generally rough, which isn't surprising considering it's stashed just above the back wheel.

So I got my ACF50 and a cloth and gave it all a good wipe down and it looked much healthier and hopefully the ACF50 should keep it well protected because I'm not paying £40 odd even for a 2nd hand replacement set!

Also ordered a couple of cheap spanners off the bay as some of the bolts I've changed aren't stand Suzuki sizes so now I'll be able to pretty much totally strip the bike using nothing but the kit I carry.

Picked up my new renthal sprockets today, now all set to replace the chain and sprockets next weekend. I've got the gold rear sprocket and a gold and black DID chain, can't wait to fit them :D (It's a very dull gold so hopefully won't look too ridiculous)

On a black bike it will look great. It might look pap on other colours though :p

Fixed cheddar cheese threaded aluminium part with a threaded insert. Finished install of Mirrors and Ztechnik Screen. I'll likely keep the small fly screen on for most of the time but wanted something a little bigger for this years trip to Europe. Might ink out the brand logo on the screen which I am not a fan of and pickup some blackened bolts rather than the SS ones.

Excuse the pap images/location!
