What did you do to your bike today?

It would be perfect as a bike mounted and powered camera, nice and small, can tuck it somewhere good. Just a pity when it's powered it's not waterproof.

Although some silicone sealant around the USB port/lead would solve that pretty quickly :D

How did you manage to find a pair? I'd really like to get the official Arrow ones so I don't get in trouble here.

Your 3-1-2 pipes look to be in a lot better condition than mine too!

Don't remap the bike by the way. The Arrow remap is only there for emissions and to bring the power back down to the official quoted figures. You'll lose that extra 1-2hp and the pops along with it if you get it remapped.

I eventually saw a pair on ebay that were in near enough new condition. Weren't the cheapest though!

Yup they are still quite shiny. I don't think the owner before me had ever had the bike out in anything other than sunshine.

Interesting. I've already ordered the cable so will no doubt try the remap to compare, then choose which one I prefer. Loving all the pops at the moment though so may stick with the stock map!

Got the same box and it's brilliant. I know people don't like the look of top boxes but honestly the convenience far out weighs being a tart over looks :D

The amount you can fit in is awesome, no worries on rain etc. I tend to keep things in there just in case as well as my standard change if clothes, laptop, lunch, change of shoes etc.

Once I get to where ever I can fit my helmet, and most of my gear in.

awesome! it does open up a little freedom too

like you say i can carry my water proofs now and other bits and pieces.

getting shipped straight from Italy so will be here in a few days time

I quite fancy the brake light kit you can get got the box too. Also a remote unlock fob too which would be useful - I'm always starting the bike then have to turn it off again as I've forgotten to put something in the box :p

I thought the exhaust install went a bit too smoothly for me yesterday. Woke up to a dead bike this morning

Dash turns on, then it starts to make the electrical/fuel pump noise, which goes on for longer than usual, then the dash just goes dead. Sometimes you hear it spark for a second before going dead. Battery is fine. Anyone got any ideas?

Got any more details on the projector / HID light (assuming it's not standard)? Did you do it for looks or because the single halogen on dipped was insufficient?

Standard arrangement. Interestingly the dipped is the reflector housing and the high beam is the projector. I wish BMW would have housed the dip in the projector and high beam in the reflector. Would have made more sense for a cleaner more focused dipped beam but...ah well.

I actually have an after market HID kit for the dipped as, like on most bikes, the halogen is woeful at night. All hidden under the right fairing (TIIIIGHT fit)

It's always been a dead battery/loose connection for me when the electrical startup noise goes on for too long.

My thoughts as well. Like the injectors are labored

I admit it does sound exactly like the battery, but I have checked the voltages are good and left the optimiser on overnight. Its still the same today.

Also gone overall the exhaust fittings again which are fine. Wondering if I have either upset a sensor somewhere in fitting the exhaust, or if having it run a bit hot without the arrow map has confused the ECU. Getting mixed reports on the Arrow map with some saying you don't need it at all, and others saying running without it has cracked their headers from the heat! Ive also tried the 12 minute tune, which hasn't had any noticeable effect.

Installed and packed this:

Have you replaced the bars on your bike Kreeeee? Ive got the shiny chrome kind, but don't like them at all.

No, I hate the fat bars. I have the, slightly dull stock ones.

The triple looks much better without a seat cowl on, I'm going to remove mine tonight.

Yeah, it's not a seat replacement proper cowl so it looks a bit daft being tacked on.

Reinstalled the Hot start plunger and lever that the previous owner removed... that's all well and good until the bike ends up upside down like last time I rode and won't start for 50 kicks lol

****** the back tyre.

I had put goop in due to a puncture I got about 1000 miles into the tyres, then went to Scotland, no problems, nice constant PSI. Then a short ride today...

Started to feel a little weird about a mile away from home after some hard-ish acceleration. Parked it up, heard a nice hissing :(

Can't see anything in the tyre, just looks like a big hole.

Maybe the hole that the goop was 'plugging' decided to get bigger.
