What did you do to your bike today?

For the extra they cost (unless you're buying mega expensive bling ones) I'd change them with the chain. The front will be worn more than the rear, but sloped teeth is a good indication.

Tested mounting my old tank bag to the seat for my tour this weekend:

I've ordered an SW-Motech tank ring and tank bag to go on the front too for the 10 day tour.

My cheapish disc lock gave up after 3 of abuse and seeing as it was my birthday I treated myself to an Abus 8077. The thing is a beast! :D. And also loud as ****

That looks.... interesting! :p Might just be the angle but it looks like it'll dig into your back/restrict movement a bit?

Nearly hydrolocked the thing. Trail riding out in the Everglades FL, (800miles of disused roads / trails) Some of which are flooded. Going in to these puddles ditches is part and parcel of trail riding. Occasionally, some take you by surprise... Very nearly lost it, struggled to keep the bike upright, as it sunk in the mud / sand / dirty Everglades water. Got got though phew !!! and didn't get any water in my airbox so ok, as far as hydrolocking goes, but i reckon it was close !!. My friend laid his down trying to get thru the mud / water. We had to make our very own new trail thru the gator / snake / bear infested forest !! lol

You ever up near Tampa? I go to Croom up here (off road park) and the puddles are never as shallow as they look, add a foot of water and another foot of mud underneath lol

Finally tracked down some Arrows. Fitted today - sounds incredible. Just need to wait for my cable to get delivered and do the remap.

Bought a GoPro Hero Session, remote, card and accessories for $200. Then bought a tool kit and pouch to take with me on the dirt bike, also a life straw if i get stranded!

How did you manage to find a pair? I'd really like to get the official Arrow ones so I don't get in trouble here.

Your 3-1-2 pipes look to be in a lot better condition than mine too!

Don't remap the bike by the way. The Arrow remap is only there for emissions and to bring the power back down to the official quoted figures. You'll lose that extra 1-2hp and the pops along with it if you get it remapped.

Fixed cheddar cheese threaded aluminium part with a threaded insert. Finished install of Mirrors and Ztechnik Screen. I'll likely keep the small fly screen on for most of the time but wanted something a little bigger for this years trip to Europe. Might ink out the brand logo on the screen which I am not a fan of and pickup some blackened bolts rather than the SS ones.

Excuse the pap images/location!

Got any more details on the projector / HID light (assuming it's not standard)? Did you do it for looks or because the single halogen on dipped was insufficient?

It's the standard setup I'm pretty sure.

Went back to OEM Suzuki grips tonight, the Renthals while nice and grippy were way too thin to soak up any vibrations and after 400 miles over the weekend I was suffering from the weird buzzy feeling in my hand even after being off the bike for hours.

No but Punta Gorda has a place you pay to get in called, Florida tracks and trails. (prolly already know about it given your bike) I know some people have been totally submerged in those trails.. gotta be careful out there ! lol
