What did you do to your bike today?

have you got the faired version? Youtube doesn't show very well, but is it easy to change air filters?

Yep.

Is yours a pointy or curvy as the curvy uses a cone style filter which I have no idea on how easy it is to change but on the pointy you just raise the tank unscrew the lid of the airbox lift the old filter out and plonk the new one in.
5 minutes work if that.

Have you got the service manual pdf? It gives you a pretty clear guide on it all.

found a service interval one earlier, will find one before stuff arrives. Just order air filter, oil filter (non K&N's only 1 second hand on ebay but still £45) and spark plugs for a total of £40. There's £190 saved..

EDIT: Downloading PDF now :) Really ppreciate your help Tom. Just wait til next week when i'm actually doing the maintenance :D

Not much of a mod, but I came across an anodized aluminum fuel cap, so snapped it up :D.

Received my Kriega Bags, so now I have 1xUS30 and 2xUS10 making the US50 combo and ordered 4L of Castrol Power 1 racing 10w40 full synthetic oil (Suzuki recommended oil), will change oil plus clean and lubricate my chain before my trip.

Got the replacement fairing through. It has the zig zag flash on it so I'll remove that decal before I put it on the bike.

Not perfect but much better nick than the one that's on there and for £25 to my door I can't really complain!

You may struggle then, official tool looks like this (left). As you can see it folds pretty small so you can fit it in. Tbh if you take rad off I'm sure you'll manage.

PM me if you want to buy a toolkit for cheap.[/QUOTE]

Hi, it says you haven't configured your trust account. Any chance you can trust me? I'm interested in your tool kit .

Have you got the lower fairings on yours? I've been looking at the PDF for oil filter change and it doesn't really look necessary to remove the lower fairings if possible.

I hiope this is true, one of the bolts has been rounded off and currently one of them is in my wallet at the moment. Just had a look to see how easily the fairings come off. Turns out not easy with a rounded head, and then going back on i'm really struggling with another one of the nuts :(

Nope but I've got a belly pan and I can change the oil and filter without removing it. You won't be able to get to the spark plug or do a coolant change without removing it though.
