What did you do to your bike today?

I had BT021 and BT020's on the SV and they were aweful! I tried to ride upright in the wet as I just didnt trust them!

Bike conked out twice this evening. come to the conclusion that the main tank feed must be partially blocked.....until I realised that the trip counter isnt working as the speedo isnt working.....on to reserve and all was well :D

I had the m7rr on the sv and didn't have any complaints in the wet or dry.

I did once fish tailed in the wet but that was because I went in the gas too much off a round about and did a clutch less shift.

I had tyre paint on the side of the wall and looks quite nice, I would pick them again.

I wouldn't pick Bridgestone's judging by what people have said.

Has anyone used Bridgestones T30 or Continental Sport Attack 2?

Experienced the T30s on the Ron Haslam track school day on their cbr600rr bikes and they had stacks of grip in the dry, most people didn't realise they were sport/touring tyres until the end of the event. I'd be happy using these.

Had a set of BT21s on my RSV and had no complaints with wet or dry grip, but they did wear in a very odd way.

Gave it good spanking on the way to work. Had the blackbird about a month now and never really gave it full throttle... jaysus!

New pants please.

Stripped all my calipers off and cleaned all the crud off the pistons and re greased all the sliding pins and rubber boots ready for winter. Tomorrow it's the suspension linkages turn and a general wash.

Gave the Tuono it's maiden wash.

Brake calipers cleaned, lots of brake dust inside with soapy water and brake cleaner and a couple of toothbrushes.
Then, Sdoc100 gel cleaner on the dirty bits, autoglym foam (not very good but will do until I get some magifoam), rinse, then 2 bucket washed with Meguiars Ultimate wash & wax, and finished off with 2 coats of Meguiars Carnauba wax+ (thats whoever posted the Eurocarparts 30% off :D)

The obligatory after pic :D

Dem reflections!

Just about to fit the rear R&G crash bungs now.

Little starter relay mod I did for when my battery gets too flat. I can bypass the 'not enough power' to start the bike by engaging the starter relay armature manually!

Well the R&G crash bung fitting is a job I don't want to repeat! Properly awkard, you have to get your hands in a tiny space and fumble around with a 15mm spanner to get to the bolts inside the frame.

Anyway, they're on, and I look forward to cracking my shins on them every time I put my feet down or want to paddle the bike around :D

Washed, cleaned and polished the RSV to death this afternoon. I'm talking rear wheel off, chain cleaned with toothbrush etc!! :D

Tucked her up for now as the MoT has expired and I think I'm gonna just hibernate her this year until next Spring. Never get time to ride her anyway so not an issue.

Haha, I didn't quite go that far! Although I did clean the brake calipers with a toothbrush! Need some more sdoc100 chain gel and some sdoc100 dry chain lube before I give the chain a proper clean.
