What did you do to your bike today?

After posting that telling you to try it, I forgot to come back and mention you need to be very careful! :p

If it's really tight, it can tear the filter, then you're potentially a bit screwed.

We almost messed up on Freeman's filter. Stuck an allen key through the hole in the bolt (K&N filter), then hammered on the end of a flat head screwdriver against the allen key. A couple of hits and it tore half the head of the filter off. Didn't realise how weak they are.

Yeah I had this with the CBR. Eventually got it off by crushing the end with some grips and carefully turning

Just got back from a long ride and vpower/redex fill up.

Oh. My. Goodness. This Hornet is something else with all that weight gone and a new exhaust.

Just need to edit video/sound clips :D

Took her up my local mountain. Turns out the season isn't quite over!

Took mine to the coast. The riding season is getting much closer to being over here! Cold, rain and mud and all sorts of rubbish on the roads.

Back in the VFR game :)

considering the claim, my insurance has actually come down £100 on it too, that may be from the datatag and alarm im fitting though.
Its an import, hence the tape on the light (have a UK light to replace it with) but its in great condition, cheap and reasonably low milage considering the age!

£70 for the double biker tidy (not sure how you could get away with a single tbh)
£45 for the luggage tidy that i'm using for my boots
£10 each for some extra heavy duty hangers

They're solid, delivery was next day and the quality is top notch. Fitting requires 2 people, it was a pain but got there in the end.
