What did you do to your bike today?

Hopefully there's a month or so left of riding here, once the first salt goes down the tuono will get tucked away. I rode it to work today, was quite warm down here in Kent.

That's nice, it's got AP rearsets so the previous owner spent some money on it (they're £300).

Ohlins rear shock too, that's a recommended upgrade for the R model.

Check it starts up quickly, a weak battery on these can and will knacker the sprag clutch. Also check under the bike, where the rear shock connects, there's 2 triangle shaped plates and a dog bone linkage, make sure they look lubed/clean as these are often neglected and can break with very bad results!

Looks like it's been owned by someone who knows these bikes though.

Seen a nice tuono 1000r, 2009, 15k miles and they are asking £4799, going to have a look tomorrow.

Tbh i wouldn't bother... its the worst color . Its over 12k so has it had the valves done ? It dosent look "that" well cared for and dare i say it looks pricey . Your nearly at v4 Aprc money . Get a better example of V2 or add some cash and get the v4

I'm planning on getting my bike treated with allyearbiker in the next couple of weeks. I got a feeling the first salt will be going down soon (in the brum area anyway.)

I still need to get mine booked in as it's filthy anyway so it could do with just a good clean nevermind the ACF50.

I've got a tail tidy on route, so want to get that fitted before booking in. Looking at their site, i'm going to head to the guy in Worcester I think.

Same guy I was looking at, I did have it booked in when I first got the bike but something came up and I never got round to it.
Just need to check the pennies, next months an expensive one with birthdays and Christmas coming :(

Bought the tank bag out for a ride. Never had the need for it so it normally just hangs on the coat pegs.

Tonight is the last meet for the year of Southampton bike night. They have asked if we can bring tins etc to give to food banks. It's a great idea in that the meet averages 400-500 bikes and tops out at about 900.

I looked at getting my bike done earlier this year, but decided to buy some ACF-50 and give it a go myself... it was a mess :p. It took ages to clear it up from the floor.

Next month is bad for me too. Insurance is up and it's looking bad. No NCB, a full loss due to theft claim, and they're classing it as a sports bike...

That's not even in the same league as a Tuono. I'd say stick it out until a good one comes along but don't settle for anything inferior as you'll always have that "I wonder what a Tuono would've been like".

It really makes no difference whichever bike he buys will be off again in the spring to be replaced by the next one he fancies :p
(I'm just jealous)
