What did you do to your bike today?

Fitted a lower seat so when the wife is on the back its now a lot more stable with flat fleet on the ground when stationary rather than tip toes :) will switch back to normal seat when riding solo though as I like the height gives slightly more comfortable leg position
And I started stripping panels off to fit an auxiliary power socket and hard wire a bike cam during the week, although still can't decide between the Roadhawk or the Nextbase Ride :( got to decide soon though as off to France in May :)

Today I've mostly been tinkering.
I've bolted my rear brake hanger to the rear adjuster, as it always falls off or jams itself in the wrong position, not what's needed for a quick wheel change.

.. and I've drained the coolant, flushed it through and refilled with water.

And I'm now off to see what I'm doing wrong with flickr images :/

Spent a couple of hours on Friday doing a few bits and bobs. Replaced my sprocket nuts and washers with new nyloc bits so they shouldn't try and escape anymore, took my K&N air filter out for a clean and stuck an old paper one in for the time being as I didn't have time to get the K&N dried and oiled and cleaned up my rear caliper and replaced the pads.

All went swimmingly until I got back from a ride on Saturday morning and noticed something splashed around the back of the bike, had a quick look and most of the fluid from my rear res had parted ways and covered my subframe and hanger :( looks like there may have been a little too much fluid in there after I'd fitted the new pads and the pressure has pushed it out past the rubber hose on the bottom of the res. So now I need to find time to get in whip it off and stick some PTFE tape around the connector until I get hold of some new hose and clips.

Ordered my self Oxford b25 backpack for my commute to work ready for Tuesday. Got a white one as as it was on offer for 32 pounds off sportsbikeshop. Was going to get a black one, but they are 50, so bit of a bargain really. Eyeing up some heated grips though. Think they will help a lot.

Got a new rear axle, axle nut and both seals for the CB400 from http://www.cmsnl.com - seems to be a really good place for some rare OEM Honda parts. My axle for instance is specific to my bike and as it's an import literally nowhere else had them. Took a few days but they had them in stock :D

I'll order some new rear wheel bearings and get the rear wheel bearings changed this week or the next as one of them is getting a little loose.

Got home and refitted my k&n filter, cleaned some mayo out of my breather filter, loosened off and tightened my sump plug which I'm hoping will have fixed the tiny weep I think the washer they supplied may have been a bit big and not centred properly.

Spent 5 minutes rolling around the gravel with my torch looking for an infill bolt I dropped until I found it hiding in my socket set

That just leaves the fitting of my new bit of brake pipe on Saturday morning and hopefully everything will be good in the SV world again.
