What did you do to your bike today?

Nothing as exciting as you guys but got it MOT'd. Lucky I took a roll of electrical tape. Came in handy to put under the left grip to stop it moving. Had to put the baffle in as well which was strange as I've never ridden it with the baffle in before

It took me a little over 2.5 hours to get there as I told Tomtom to take me a winding route and it took me a little under 2 hours to get home as I told it to take the quickest route, both took me around Shrewsbury rather than through it.

Most probably a VFR800, 5th gen (pre-VTEC). Can pick them up for £2k with 20-40k miles on the clock, they'll do 100k easy.

I need to get the fuel issue sorted on the Tuono but it's not a hard job: tank off, drain fuel, remove fuel pump assembly, replace hose, refit.

New pads at the rear and gave it a good wash, tomorrow or Monday I'm hoping to sort out the rounded off screw on the master cylinder.

Fitted a new Ti bleed nipple to my rear caliper yesterday and bled it with my new vacuum kit. Still need a bit of practise, keeping my res topped up with fluid quicker than the vacuum draws it through is a bit of a challenge.

Cleaned up my front pistons, they were quite corroded in places so broke out the wet and dry sand paper. They'll need replacing after another salty winter I think but I'll get SS replacements.

The piston pliers made it much easier to move them around in the caliper so that was money well spent. Put new pads in as well although after poking all the muck out of my old brembo pads and giving them a quick go over with the sand paper there's actually a fair bit of life left in them, the wear groves were just full of crap. So they've gone into my backup bits collection.
