What did you do to your bike today?

Took my 95 Blade for its MOT yesterday, would have been a pass with no advisories but it's passed pending a fix/retest of a slightly anal failure due to the rear brake light adjustment

A two minute fix, good job I live only 5 mins away - all sorted and MOTed today.

Do this, but with your head below the screen to cut out wind noise, the engine noise is just... it's sexual, truly is. Clutchless upshift too, you'll feel like Rossi :D

haha, watch the speed needle rise aswell when ur tucked in behind the screen

how much you had out of yours? me 170 on the clock and ive got to 160

Got the K1300S serviced today, and had the below courtesy bike. I must say other than the nice seat I disliked it.

Electric screen even at lowest didn't give the slightest breeze to cool me down. The boxer engine disagreed with me after having enjoyed the smooth and torque'ee 1300. The high-up bars also felt uncomfortable after 30 minutes or so. My K1300S is better suited to my body shape I feel!

All in all I was most most glad to be back on mine. It felt hilariously nimble and tiny after that!

Added some aux lights to the GS to assist in the daily commute/battle - no excuse for drivers not seeing me now, although I'm sure they will pull out just the same! To be honest though, I've had less cars not see me on this bike than any other

New Avon Storm 3D XM tyres front and back fitted. New EBC rear pads. New NGK Iridium plugs, new Motul 5000 semi synth oil and a K&N 303 oil filter fitted. Also fixed the scottoiler (trapped under the seat, d'oh!) and fitted the scorpion exhaust back on.

just got to replace the brake fluid and coolant and my "major" service for my new zx6r is done :)

:( dont wanna! It's on the list that probably needs doing but i'll probably put off til next year! Just bought her and already spent £350 in a week on tyres and the above list!

howmany miles jessjess? mines about to turn 50k,had valves last checked at 23k sounds solid still tbh

in all that time ive had the fuel pump fail and that's it from new

20600 on an x plate so pretty low miles. i know it needs doing, sold the zzr just before it needed them so on this one gonna make sure they get done. doing the plugs on the zx6r was a right pain so probably just gonna drop the zx into the local kwack dealer and get them to do it when it comes to valve clearance time.

it'll be a £300/£400 job at the dealer

and yeah the plugs are hard to get at under the airbox

here's my mileage on my 98 zx6 g1

they are good reliable bikes, ill have to post a vid of my art can when I get time

getting the stick coils off was a pain. soaking them in wd40 did the job then a screwdriver covered in gaffer tape backwards worked as a great spark plug retrieval tool! thank god i dont have to do that again for another 20k if these iridium plugs are as good as they say!!

got a baffle arriving on tuesday for the exhaust. shame to muffle the noise but its a bit loud for 7am starts!!

You want a plug socket with rubber internals,it grips the plug then so you can pull it out,and Yh mines not for road use but I filed it and polished it off

the one we had at my old man's was too long. so added another use to gaffer tapes many uses!

my exhaust did say race use only on it. but then it fell into a grinding wheel on a dremel and then an e1 exhaust sticker fell onto it.....crazy things happen!

Popped to Pidcock Triumph's Open Day. Didn't win anything :(

Did see this while we were there though :D
