What did you do to your bike today?

Oh yeh sorry I missed your comment! Yep doing RWYB, fancy a bit of drag time to get my track fix. Are you running?

Yeah, I went a couple of months ago with biker friends, was a good day. Then my petrol head buddies at work fancied it, so taking them along. I'll ride a few on the bike too, I'm sure I can better my last time of 12.6 by quite a bit.

mce have offered a 2011 er6n for the duration of the claim, waiting for a call back to see if their logistics department agrees and when to deliver it :p

I passed my test on one of these, will be fun being on a naked bike again.

We'll have to have some kind of bat signal so we can meet up!

picked up an official TOR (Triumph Off Road) exhaust for £100 :D They don't make them any more but they sound fantastic and it is £350 cheaper than an arrow and it looks OEM.

Time for new tyres too.. i managed 1,500miles before Super Corsa's started to square off, but 700miles of that was running in... I now have a trip to the 'Ring and a Cadwell trackday coming up and another set of Super Corsa's won't last for both events. I think i'm going to go for Rosso Corsa's, I had them on my 10R and they were good and last 3,500miles. £220 for a set of tyres...! :(

I asked her for the same, she started to tell me but stopped and said she'd tell my insurance when she contacts them. Not sure if this is odd?

A little odd but as long as you have her reg it should be fine.

I'm on a TPFT policy. After the call with the van driver I called my insurance company to ask for advice and it seems to have shot off. Before I knew it I had solicitors calling me and had a funny feeling that I hadn't paid for this. Checked over my policy papers and right enough I have no legal protection.

I imagine it will be 'no win, no fee' but check with them.

This sounds like it could be expensive, and although I don't think I was at fault, would it be best to just let it go, pay the excess and face higher insurance quotes?

What we're the circumstances? How much damage? We're you injured?

Sorting spares for the blade..

Spare wet wheels & 16.5" marchesini lightweights. Theyre from Chaz davies old R6 so need to get down to the machine shop for a new front spindle and rear spacers.

Carriers, discs and odds

Some sprockets... (still geared for TT atm so need to add a few on the back)

Solid dyno run for a blade. Less BHP but more torque than most thousands so should do decent enough. Totally stock motor with leo vince ti system (wow loud!) and map.

Very nice!!

Fitted a few bits to mine today, got some second hand but brilliant condition Galfers, and new chain and sprockets, -1 and +1 and +2 links on the chain to extend the wheelbase, oh and some SBS road pads rather than the carbon race ones on there previously, front end feels great now! :D

Had a bit of a nightmare with the one of the calipers, pistons and seals are in such good condition that when I pushed back the pistons on one caliper a piston popped out of the opposite caliper! Ooops, silly mistake but cost me over an hour because it was a right b**** to bleed!
Some idiot previously also put the old chain on with the split link facing inwards so just more complications! :p

Looking sweet there mate! I bet the ballache was worth it in the end.

Had a wicked day at santa pod yesterday and was good to meet Andy. Hope to get some video of the day up at some point.

Yes mate, good to meet yout too, video is up -

I saw one of your runs, I think you did an 11.4? Better than my best of 11.8, but I improved on my previous best of 12.6, so going in the right direction!

What time did you stay till? We left around 1pm having seen the queue of cars being perhaps 150m long! (My mates being in cars and all)

Looked like fun.

You could have improved your times if you had ridden as fast as you did when, after your first run in the video, you went as fast as you did heading back to the paddocks.

Also your friends could have gone faster if they'd reduced weight by losing the bum fluff.

Some good video there! I need to get myself a gopro 3 after seeing yours and what it can do.

My fastest run of the day was 11.3558 and passed the line at 118.85mph.

Our last run was 3:20 and we left shortly after that as the wait to get that last run was an hour!!!!!

The car queue was all the way down to the block of toilets when we left

just got my LED rear light in the post so will be fitting that later today

update
fitted it and it looks great, so much better that the normal red lens n bulbs
was a right pain to fit though as my bike has been modified with a under tray
pic below is just the light no brake light

Fitted a Yoshimura RS2 full system on my DRZ and removed the PAIR valve. Thankfully the Avon's it came with are nearly done, so my next job will be fitting some Goldspeeds or Michelin Pilot Powers.. or possibly distanzias.. Can't make up my mind :p

@Fireskull did you keep pinching the rubber hose to the master cyclinder as your pumping the front lever?

I bled my zx10 brakes the other day and kept doing that, you'll see how much air bubbles bubble out as gravity rises so its easier that way

took zx6r for mot today and passed after 3 years off the road
