What did you do to your bike today?

clutch was slipping now n then and apparently its a common fault with the ZR7, the springs go soft on 30k+ bikes.
so got some EBC 15% stronger springs and thought while the case was off I may as well change the plates also as it had done 36k n been slipping.
all done and running with some nice clean Castrol power racing full synthetic

Weekly clean and demon spraying. Trying out the WD40 Chain Wax, went on nice but don't know if I put too much on as I did it 2 days ago and its still not dried in on the outer edge of the chain? is it supposed to stay white? didn't say anything about wiping off excess on the can just leave to dry - should I have done anyway? seems to be doing its job all the same. Recently got a rear wheel roller which has made oiling and cleaning a bliss even compared to using the paddock stand.

I have been using WD40 Chain Wax also
seems to work fine so far
 
Uncovered it rode it wiped it over put it away. Riding a VFR is Awesome but owning one to fettle & fiddle is boring.

Well the calipers were changed and the braking is massively improved. Also, put new rear pads in and changed the fluid. Adjusted the chain as it was as slack as a yaks crack. Took it out for a good spin this morning and the difference was night and day. Good clean later and back under the covers she goes for a day or so.
 
Busy day today. Took my aftermarket rearsets off and swapped them back to standard as 2nd to 3rd just wasn't happening smoothly. Stripped the brakes, re bled them and fitted my carbon matrix carbon ceramic pads. Mirrors off and block off plated fitted. Good clean all round and making sure everything is shipshape. Then 1h 30 ride down to donnnington. Just at some crappy hotel ready for the track day tomorrow. Hotel room is 13. Not the best of signs eh :-).
 
Just fitted a fender extender after the radiator cover got covered in mud last week riding round the Peak District.

Drilling into my shiney mud guard, well since it was off I had to clean it perfectly, almost broke my heart.

Ive allways stuck them on with silicon sealant, not had one drop off in 13 years of doing it like that.
 
Almost dropped it, at about 15-20 mph on entry into a large roundabout (going straight on) due to a largish patch of diesel across the road. What made it worse is the fact there are roadworks near and there are cones shepherding you right onto its path. Just been on my local council website looking to report it but there doesn't seem to be a dept. for this.(kind of ironic it's the island right next to the council house). Was a little cautious for the rest of the journey into work.

^Crushed my hand I think, throttle house and tube flew off down track and smashing to bits

Wheels are a bit buckled but probably fixable.
Need rearset spares so will ring pro-mach and see how they price up vs a second hand set.
Need a lot of little bits here and there and im replacing the swingarm as it took a brave whack and theyre relatively cheap parts.

Not a bad effort for only 1 hand..

This is why you wear decent gloves folks, id have lost my hand otherwise but instead ive just got a small busted 4th metatarsal

Aiming for SBK race at end of sept if im out of my cast and all fixed
