What did you do to your bike today?

200 mile round trip to nowhere..wash'd and ready for tomoz if i decide to do it again..

btw,,any one in wiltshire any good with bike electrics, i need some help removing a datatag system 3, on me bike :-)

Spent a few hours washing it, then waxed it.

Polishing the exhaust was a massive pain. Living outside it has the cover put on when hot, and it seems - although the cover is heat proof at that part - that it's marking the exhaust, which is then more tough than all the bits of tar to get off. Nause.

Fitted a PUIG rear hugger :)

Also, err... something... may of happened with the exhaust. The result of said "happening" is a lovely sound :p

Changed to rear brake piston seals on the ZX6R.

Also had test rides on the BMW S1000RR and the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Both incredible machines. The 1199 is a beast in race mode!!

Replaced my fuel pump...

Likely been getting worse for several months causing the engine to run hotter and the pump failing to start a few times in the summer heat... now back to throttle addiction with the added power created by a fully working slightly better pump :D

Saved £470 by doing the job myself with a £30 pump off of eBay

Ouch, hopefully no major damage? Except perhaps your pride...

Hope the fairings not too badly mangled.

Slight scratch on the fairing, bent bar end, indicator taken off, scratch on the exhaust, and something about handlebar isn't right but not sure what.

Not as bad as it could have been. Just so annoying because I was taking it so easy aswell :(

Don't beat yourself up over it fella, it happens to every one some time or other, hell it still ocassionally happens to me & ive been riding longer than youve been alive, these little spills are all part of the learning curve, which lasts a life time. :D

I dropped a bike on a test ride. :o Ran out of talent ended up on the grass & just as it was coming to a stop it just slid sideways under me, Was with a mate as well who saw it all. :p I pulled the clods of grass out of it went for my test ride & took it back with no damage luckily. Next time I dropped one it was turning around in a road at walking pace, front wheel got caught in the gutter & just spat me off, This time nobody I saw saw me. :p
I'm just glad I did my dropping before I got a decent bike.

Got my shed alarm Saturday so I'll be fitting it today, Shed sensor Alarm, 2 Oxford locks, Alarmed Disc lock, Bike alarm/immobiliser & steering lock, Once you get past all that you then have to get it out the shed & down the jitty down side of my house. Overkill ??? :p

Sorted out today, £16 for a new indicator from ebay, brute force on the bar end.
Just need to touch up the fairing and am looking to get a new exhaust in a few months anyway
