What did you do to your bike today?

Put another 50 miles on today. Only 450 to go until it's first service. Desperately waiting on companies to make a tail tidy....

Work was quiet today, so picked up the S1000R a couple of days early and started fitting stuffs to it..

Out with the parachute..

Next up is a full system (de-cat) as at one point I got off the thing just to make sure I wasn't riding my grandmothers sewing machine (it needs MOAR noise!).

I've got to say, it's an incredible machine and i'm super glad I traded in my ZX10R for it.
It's got plenty of torques as well as having the IL4 sound.
It's kind of the best of both worlds between my old 1290 Superduke R and the ZX10R, just perfect :D

Ohh man, now I'm thinking I need a tail tidy for mine  Which did you go for?

The bike is great though - wait until you play with launch control on the TLGP! Though I don't think you can have that and the pitlane limiter both enabled, I seemed to lose LC with the limiter on.

Evotech personally looks the best to me and I’ve always preferred their quality over other brands.

At the moment I’ve no idea what most of the controls do, but I’ll have play this weekend, and as long as I can turn off TC, I’ll be happy.

You get an extra settings menu of you put the bike into Dynamic Pro, I think you can turn off TC and ABS via that - there might even be a dedicated button on the left hand controls for TC off iirc - I've never felt the need to turn mine off tbh, as it only ever seems to kick in when you hit gravel or a jump

Fitted some PPF to the sides of the tank!

This image was half way through. Patience is key for sure. Overall happy with the result.

Also fitted some carbon heel guards. Got some replacement engine case guards through and they're equally as bad as the previous so they're going back...

I’ve got it in Dyna Pro and can hold down the ABS switch for 3 seconds which turns the TC off, so wheeeeeelies happen :)

Washed it for the first time

Picked myself up a small electric air blower. Couldn't justify the prices of actual bike dryers. Worked great at getting the standing water out of those hard to reach places on a naked bike

Then rode it
