20Mb @ 30ms ping is OK though, just in the early evening it can drop to nothing.
And the WiFi is awful, barely 5m range some days.

Virgin Media are the biggest scammers in the UK, your £30 a month deal slowly creeps up and up each month, till your £30 deal is now costing you £80 a month, for exactly the same deal they advertise to new customers at £30. They'll rob you blind given the chance, wouldn't surprise me if they've been on Watchdog.

I paid 164 quid up front this year for line rental saver, without that would be 38 per month

I'm leaving sky this month, constant price rises and I feel that we don't really need it and on demand services and freesat will work for us, 11 years of sky and even with them offering a discount I don't want to stay

When my new neighbour moved in they asked to borrow my WiFi for a while till the got theirs installed. I let them thinking it was only a few days, read them the riot act .. NO streaming movies, NO downloading music or films, and DON'T take the proverbial pee.

They hammered the hell out of it with someone elses Sky Go login ... obviously connected it to their TV. So I kicked them off.

Canceling all TV packages and just going for broadband now. The TV offerings are pretty poor these days.

I have virgin media, 152MB broadband, phone with unlimited calls, TV full package, Sky sports, BT sports , movies etc

think its about £120 a month

Well no Sky HD channels, you still get HD BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc and BT Sport HD and ESPN HD. You do of course still get all the Sky channels in SD.

But what you do get is Setanta Sports Ireland, which means Saturday 3pm kick-off EPL games which is worth the minimal trade-off.

Just call them each time and say you want to cancel. Took about 10mins to get my price lowered by £10.

I like how they advertise and then don't say anything about landline. Not even sure why people use home phones any more, half of the calls are scum trying to sell you crap.

26.50 pm for 100/6 Virgin bb only. About TV channels if there's anything I need I use a android box with xbmc and a nice add-on or two. Can't believe ppl still pay for sky channels these days.
