What do you think of the 4070Ti?

I'll just pick up a 4060ti when the 5000 series get released.. at these prices I will never buy new gen, sticking to a gen behind from now on.. I hope this **** bites them in the ass.. hard!

Depends if Nvidia play the same shenanigans again.

You might find that the 4060Ti price at around the 5xxx series launch remains exactly the same. :P

This has always worked for me. I will be skipping both AMD and NVIDIA this generation, if it gets worse next gen I'm sure my PS5 will see me through.
Yea my current 3060ti is running 4x 1080p displays easily and Im not gaming much atm and when I do its only DayZ which runs great maxed out, doing more Dj'ing online so my rig is more than good enough for my needs.

Sit tight, these prices are not sustainable, AMD and Nvidia will be hit hard in the next financial results.
I am in no rush for a new gpu atm, I would like a new card before Diablo 4 comes out which is June the 6th 2023 as this is the next game I am after.

Igpu on my 9700K it is for awhile longer as my son some how ended up with my 2070S lol (it was his card that died originally)

I did consider this generation but glad I cancelled that idea with these prices. My current card is doing everything it should and more at 1440p.

This is a great place to be to watch ppl have a go at people who have temporarily have more money than them.

So what if I couldn't pay this month's rent, or I sold my dog? He was a drain on society anyway :)

Expensive products are the great equaliser.

I know what you mean. At the end of the day people spend their money on what they like.

Even if I had the money I dont think I could ever spend 2k on a card. I struggled to warrant spending £458 on my 2070S back in 2019 which the most I've spent on a gpu, before that I spent £250 on a Sapphire R9 390 8GB in 2015 (the 2070S replaced this)

Nvidia are saying that the 4070ti beats the 3090ti by up to 20%

So people who bought a 3090 or 3090ti 3 months ago for £1500+ gets beat by a mid tier new gen card?

Whhhat

The "OC" tax is back. Non OC make the £799/$799 cut and will be gone then £49 for the same card for 30MHz quoted boost extra. (2610MHz vs 2640MHz)
So 6.25% more money for 1% boost clock, bargain. This is now standard practice.
